I did school choice for this school.....I'm glad we did. I like the school but the teachers I have came in contact with for my son has been "AWESOME". He is entering the 4th grade and I can't wait to see what this teacher has in store for my son and his parents.

The reason the school score so poorly is because the teacher are on their cell phones all the time and not teaching the children. My children come home daily telling me that they were not able to do a subject because the teacher was on the phone texting or on line. Teachers running into each other in the hall way because they were texting. This should not be. I experience this myself during my parent conference meeting. The teachers interrupted our meeting to take calls and answer text messages several times. It became so frequent I had to say enough. This confirmed what the children was telling me was true. There should be a no cell phone policy in the classrooms. It is not fair to the children and to the tax payers. Hillsborough County School should have a no cell phone policy. if there is an emergency the call should come into the main office and the office will call the teacher classroom. Our children are great we need to have dedicated teachers in the classroom teaching the kids and not on the phone. We will see better test scores.

Mango is an horrible school. My child was compared to Oak Park students behavior meaning teachers tolerate the children behavior more than Mango does. I'm highly offended. They act as if they have perfect children attending the school.

I love this school for my child, but I especially love the Headstart/VPK program! I love ALL the Headstart/VPK teachers! My niece went to this school two years ago and the program back then was good! My daughter goes now and it's gotten better! My daughter has a speech program so the speech department is doing an excellent job! She is talking more and interracting more, and I am so greatful! The principal is a wonderful principal. She's strick but she does it with care! Just a wonderful place to be all the way around.

Awesome school, great teacherS, BUT LACK OF PARENT SUPPORT! We need the parents to run the PTA, not enough fundraisers or fun for the students after school (fall festival, field day, ect.)

My son is studying in second grade.His mam name is Miss Humenn. she is very kind . My son has a learning problem he was in level 2 when he joined this school ,within 6 month he came to16 level it was like miracle to us.thanks to all the teachers who put so much effort on him .he loves to go to school .

I was a student now I am doing to Burnett middle school and my experience her was good and bad my math teacher loved to enterict with the class her name was mrs.comrie I love her she was so sweet and kind. Umm my other teacher was nice her name was mrs.diamond-rutt she loved to do fun thing with the kids um I would not rev amend this school because my brother he is going to 4 grade there and in 3 grade he found 1green spider four different times and the milk was expired and that happend twice and there kids loved fighting and that would fight and circe and when the lunch lady's go to help some would disrespect her and there was a lot of bullying there and myself got bullied and kids will throw sunflower seeds at you and dump milk on you and it was a horrible experience but most of the teachers were nice and funny but I would not recamind this school at all

Mango is one of the best schools out there, te teachers are very sweet and caring, staff is very polite, my son came to this school and his grades went high, his behavior improved a 100% he loves his teacher and friends

This is my childs first year at this school and she loves her school and so do I. I've watched my child grow academically while shes been here and her teacher is very hands on and shows her students one on one attention. This school is great !
