Timberland High School is a great school to attend. Not only do we have a great athletics progarm and extracurricular activities but our teachers do a wonderful job with the resources they have. No, we do not get as many opportunities as some of the big schools, but I believe the school does a great job with what they got. I was accepted to every school i applied to and the guidance department has always supported me. Many people have graduated from Timberland and have excelled in more than just sports. I would not have chosen to attend any other school.

Current 4 yr principal retiring after 2009-10. He made great improvements in safety & dsiipline. My student (1st yr @THS) was exposed to tobacco use in 1 classroom & limited drugs on campus. Parent involvement poor. I paid PTSA dues at beginning of yr & never heard about a meeting or activity. School spirit good. Athletics strong. Education poor. Only 2 AP courses offered. Honors classes are a joke compared to other schools. Only 3 students scored 1300 on SAT & that only happened this year! Teachers encountered were nice, except one. Don't push to complete courses, though! Guidence lacking communication & experience with gifted students & out-of-state colleges. THS produces more pro athletes than Palmettow Fellows....What does that tell you?!
