Branson has a mix of amazing teachers, intense academics, good sports teams all on a beautiful campus. The kids are hard workers who are involved in so many different community service activities, clubs and sports. Also offers lots of financial aid for families. Our son is class of 2018 and we are so glad we chose to send him to Branson.

My daughter is a senior (class of '15) and has had a phenomenal 4 years at Branson. She has gotten a great education, become a strong public speaker and had an excellent athletic experience. Branson is a small school, and for my daughter that has meant personalized attention, lots of group discussion and a chance to get involved in new activities. I have heard more than once kids comment about limited social circles. My impression is that the academic load is tough but not out of control. Between class work and an extra curricular activity or two, your kid is not going to have time to be hanging out at the 7/11. While I wouldn't claim to have met a majority of the student body, the kids I have met are well-spoken, polite and motivated. I have never heard of or experienced any sort of party culture at Branson. We lost our head of school this year in unfortunate fashion, but things returned to normal quickly and the Board seems to be completely on top of making changes to improve governance. Our family has had a great experience at Branson.

You've got to be joking! This school's name has to come out of the great school list! They've damaged so many kids.

Great teachers, nice kids willing to collaborate, great food, beautiful campus, inspired head, and a jewel of an admissions head who knows how to pick a good class. My chid is very happy, learning so much, and appreciated by his peers, teachers, and administration. He says he'll be sad when he graduates.

Upon graduating from Branson in1999, I moved to NYC to attend Columbia University.Though I have never returned to the West Coast, I have been trying to get back to Branson ever since! Branson, along with its world class educators and administrators literally changed my life. A hallmark of Branson is the dynamic and close relationships between teachers and students. Academics are challenging, but teachers go above and beyond to help every student achieve their highest potential and to fall in love with school and learning. I still keep in touch with my teachers and adminsitrators to this day - several of which were life changing mentors. I am so thankful for my Branson education, and whenever I get back to the West Coast, I will absolutely find a way to get involved in this amazing community again.

Excellent school, excellent administration, excellent teachers. My daughter is learning so much, is not over-burdened with homework, and is happy. Students treat each other well. This is a school that does things right.

I didn't notice the 4 star (instead of 5) Head of School rating. I think this is a legacy rating from pre-2007. Woody Price has been at Branson three years now. He is five star all the way. A veteran leader who has dramatically improved many areas at the school. Do not choose a high school without meeting Woody. He will inspire you to something greater...Branson.

My son is currently a sophmore at Branson. Since the last post is of 11/07, the school has undergone significant new construction as well as remodeling. With only 320 students the school is even more of a jewel than mentioned earlier. I would disagree with rating on Principal Leadership. 'Woody' Price, the Head of School, is dynamic, inspired and involved. That rating should be increased to five stars.
