Teachers do not listen and are very quick to assign blame to students of color. I am disgusted by the 1st grade teachers and their attempts to label.

My son is having a wonderful experience at Jackson Davis. I feel like this school is very diverse for the Richmond area! The teachers are supportive and the administrators don't just oversee thier team but also support the teachers and parents. In this new virtual school environment I feel like my child is provided with the tools he needs to meet the county's expectations. I also see that children in need have also been given the resources needed to be successful.

My daughter started Jackson Davis in the 1st grade and is now going into 5th grade. She has learned so much - not just academics; which the teachers go above and beyond. The children also learn what it is to be a good citizen. We feel so blessed to be in this neighborhood.

My daughter graduated from Jackson Davis last year. She and I loved this school. The principal is awesome, he stands outside every morning to greet the students (by name)!!!! The office staff and Mrs. Richie (nurse) are wonderful people. If you have the opportunity to send your child to Jackson Davis, please do so!!!!

Everyone is happy to be at this school. Strong academics. If your child is at higher academic level than grade, they will create groups for your child to advance his academic potential.

The school does a poor job of help advanced kids get the opportunity they need. They are withheld from advanced opportunities so they'll keep the school SOL scores high.
