TCES only serves a 1 mile radius from the school which makes for an incredibly tight knit community. We’ve loved our time here and look forward to continuing to our next grade. The administration is approachable, responsive and flexible. The teachers are caring and can really be in tune with their kids (our K classes were less than 14 each) which is great.

Excellent school! My son is going to Three Chopt last 2 years and he likes it so much. Teachers are excellent, great activities at school, they focus on self confidence for children

The kindergarten through 3rd grades were alright till 4-5. It's when the staff will favor the gifted over the others. It's not right to make kids feel that they're lower than the "smarter" ones. I wouldn't recommend this school to parents who want their child to be treated correctly.

My son has been going here since he was in Kindergarten. The faculty and staff are friendly and very competent. The school is organized with a PTA that is highly active. My son has been very successful each year which is attributed to his teachers. I cannot wait until my daughter is able to get her education here!

Great school! Our daughter has gone to this school for the gifted classes as this school is the zoned gifted school for grades 4 and 5. Mr. Spotts is great both with the kids and parents. The teachers have all been understanding and exceptional. Great projects! I would recommend this school to anyone thinking about attending it for the zoned gifted reason. Absolutely amazing!

My oldest son attended TCES from 2007-2009 as a kindergartener and first-grader. He absolutely loved it there and so did my wife and I. The principal was top-notch and ran a good ship. The teachers were caring and kept my son engaged and challenged. I will likely never reside in the area again due to my job, but for anyone considering living in the Richmond area, I'd recommend they take a look at Three Chopt Elementary for their children.

The school has an exceptional program, commited teachers and Principal, a fabulous group of students and parents. IT COULD NOT BE BETTER.

Ms. Shaban puts this school over the edge. She's absolutely the best. I don't know what we would without her. She's going to make a wonderful principal one day and we'll miss her!
