In my experience, Trinity Episcopal School sets students up for success through their academic programs, supportive teachers and well rounded curriculum. All students are involved in extra curricular activities such as sports, robotics, arts, music and the outdoor program and more. I like that they offer interesting course electives as well as the IB program. The IB program is also somewhat of a cafeteria plan - were its not all or nothing, so all students can decide if they want to have elevated classes. The motto here is "Discover Your Path" and I feel like that is true. Students are encouraged to try new things and figure out what makes them tick. I think the faculty are really nice and easy to talk to. They are also encouraged to try new things to help engage their students. The students are very respectful and do not have discipline problems like at other schools, these kids really want to be here. They seem to enjoy coming to school. They get a lot of free time, some say too much, but i think the students appreciate the freedom they have to work on projects, or learn different things. I would recommend this school to families.

I would strongly recommend that parents consider any other school over Trinity. The administration is unprofessional, unethical, and unresponsive to parents. The grading scale, as another parent mentioned, puts college bound students at a horrible disadvantage. The teachers are mediocre. The school hinders communication between parents and teachers by commanding that all communication go through the student's advisor. Although they vehemently deny it, Trinity recruits heavily for their male sports (especially basketball), and places those students on a pedestal. Trinity's stated mission is "Discover Your Path." I believe Trinity has gotten lost on its own path. I don't believe this school can reclaim its previous good reputation until the board does its job and removes the current administration.

Parents note that many of the reviews of TES are older - the quality of the school has greatly declined under the current administration.TES is a good school for children who never receive less than a 100% and the school only is interested in the top 10-15 students or IB students per class.Here is what you can really expect at Trinity:1. The six point grading scale will ruin your child's chances of getting into a top college. An 85% is a C at Trinity. Only remaining school in the area on this scale and they viciously defend it.2. The school is riddled with drug and vape use akin to an urban school. Opiate overdoses have occurred at TES this year, covered up by the administration3. There is no accountability for teachers or administration. The administration is unbelievably argumentative with parents. A recent parent survey was conducted and it will not be shared with parents. There are a very large amount of multi-family relationships within the school that lead to poor accountability...Who can fire their sister?4. Bullying is overlooked and toleratedI would not recommend sending a child you care about to Trinity - it's a scam for all but IB level students as they are likely to have an experience at a school that will drive high levels of anxiety and not serve them or you. With the poor quality of accountability and grading scale- you are in danger of ruining their future college aspirations.Collegiate, The Saints or Steward are significantly better choices

The sense of community, challenging classes and the non-judgmental nature of the students make this school amazing both socially and academically. My daughter gets personal attention from her teachers and critical thinking skills challenged without a lot of busy work. The list of universities graduates get accepted to is extremely impressive. The support that the students give each other here is unheard of in public school without the intense competitiveness. ( She came from a public middle school) The honor, integrity, respect and excellent sportsmanship that is brought out and taught in this community is something I have rarely seen from teenagers. Feels more mature and similar to a college atmosphere with great clubs, sports and arts. A few teachers are just okay, but the most are excellent. The music director is outstanding! I do wish they would establish a singing/chorus program or a show choir (currently only a coppella group). Trinity is an excellent school.... Especially if you want a fresh start, (versus k-12 where everyone already knows each other which most others are in town) Their kitchy motto is 'Discover your Path', however they really do make it happen.

After going to public school for 2 years and then transferring in for the last 2 years of high school, I was finally able to see what a real high school looks like. Trinity is more than just a school: it's a community that many consider to be similar to a college campus. Trinity allowed me to get a full athletic scholarship to play basketball at one of the top academic institutions in the country. I currently have family teaching there now, and the ideals have not changed at all.
