Wonderful experience for my grandchildren. Dedicated teachers. Curriculum reflected throughout hallways and classrooms.

Weaver has been excellent for my children. They are supportive and accommodating for my student with special needs. They provide a nurturing environment for learning, and they push my children to learn and expand.

The staff and teachers are amazing at Weaver. My children have gotten so much out of Weaver. Not just growing in knowledge but in their sense of self and confidence.

Pathetic experience. My child was given a waiver to this school for one semester and we were denied to return (continue) just three months after starting here in a new school district because 'his siblings were going to graduate to middle school'. Principal Lindsay Mottley even said she knew this was going to happen before we even started, but failed to contact us with that information and failed to give a damn after. We never even received so much as an apology and my son will now go to 3 schools in 3 semesters. Having just moved from the top school district in Richmond (Shady Grove Elem), there was a stark contrast. The ridiculousness our family experienced with this school would never have occurred in our old school district. Teachers and front office were warm and I would love to score them higher. My kids were not as challenged and remarked about it immediately. Lots of hype. Bitter experience for us.

I feel this school is great for well behaved girls. This school handles boys very poorly and does not know how to manage their energy levels or their way of learning. If you have a boy, consider private school.

If you want your child to excel at "arts & crafts" this is the school for you. If you want your child to know the FUNDAMENTALS that middle school curriculum requires, look somewhere else, because they won't get it at this school.

Great school since they changed the administration. The staff if so much nicer and inviting. It's a great school and your kids will be very prepared for middle school.

While BWE does have wonderful teachers, the administration is a huge problem. The Principal is a "my way or the highway" person and she does not consider what will be helpful to parents and the children. She is all about appearances and keeping up the facade of the "perfect" school. We all know no school is perfect, but when the lack of information or follow through hurts a child's self esteem and/or health then something is clearly wrong. The Principal and front office staff could use a good dose of humility.

Weaver has some amazing teachers but most than that crazy, emotional, and horrible teachers. The principal is horrible and has no common sense and is a person who does not understand how the world works. Two stars for the teachers that keep the school decent

I have two children at BWE and it truly has been a great experience for both children. It is a private school atmosphere in a public school setting. We consider ourselves fortunate to be in this school district with such great teachers.

The staff is AMAZING! Mrs. Burke has helped my son go from a non-talking toddler to a 6 year old that rarely stops talking!! Love that all the parents are so helpful and always willing to be there for the kids.

Best School. There isn't a better school out there. With one daughter that went to Greenfield for the specialty program there and one daughter that stayed at BWE I can positively assure you that Bettie Weaver prepared students better for middle school and high school as well. It is a tough school that teaches students diligence--yet the students have a blast!
