It's a pretty good school they have great teachers and counselors. One of them has their own book series. The food is good better then the images online. But sometimes they have a teacher that you don't like. And recently a science class went to dutch gap to go kayaking. So overall this school is relatively good compared to other schools.

My children have attended a few different schools in different states. This is by far the worst school system that we have ever came across. The teachers do not care about individual learning needs, nor does the staff. The teachers wait until the end of the grading periods to submit their grades and provide no feedback or reach out to parents with opportunities for the students to get extra help or make up any possible missing assignments. The Canvas system is the system that assignments are uploaded into, however grades are uploaded into synergy aka ParentVue. These 2 systems do not sync, while one is showing assignments are turned in the other is showing missing. Chesterfield county schools should be avoided!!!!!!! We are moving to avoid them from continuing there "Lack" of education that is occurring at Robious Middle School.

Lots of homework and it is due very soon. Spiral quizes are confusing. People used to steal soap so now the staff put the soap near the hallway so the camera can see so I have to walk there and back just to wash my hands. The bathroom floor is sticky...

I'm a student here, and I love it! The teachers are great and understanding, and they actively try to understand their students!

This school was a huge disappointment with mediocre teachers with barely any standouts. It's far different than any other schools in other states we've attended. There is just no energy, no above and beyond and that was when we were "in person". Now that it's virtual there was no way we could continue, the school board in Chesterfield County did not listen to the parents and should be held accountable, they are the worst. We ultimatly took our boys our mid year and placed them in a private school nearby and LOVE IT!

Awful. It was like living in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid.

Robious has definitely been an experience, At first I was in the CBG program but I ended up leaving it after my 7th grade year. The teachers in the program thought that they were the best in the state, but in fact they weren't even close to being best in the school. The other students seemed to have this idea that they were better and smarter than each other, and were overall bad classmates. Now that I'm out of the program things seem to be going well.

Disgusted, disappointed, appalled, ashamed for the few real educators that exist in this Country. What not true, research how this Country stacks up compared to dozens of other Countries that employ actual educators.

Our daughter is finishing up her first year at Robious Middle School and we have been very happy. Her teachers are helpful, it's been a lot of hard work for my daughter but she has enjoyed it. The new principal has good communication skills, I've talked to him on two separate occasions, and he's proactive.

Our son completely blossomed at Robious Middle. He was accepted to the Honors program in 7th grade, which was fabulous, but honestly, we felt he had equally great teachers and experiences outside the honors program. His favorite subject was Latin, most likely due to the fantastic teacher. The school was responsive to his math needs, allowing him to take Algebra and Geometry concurrently (at his request - not ours!) Being involved in the PTA really helps to understand how to navigate the school, the personalities of the administration and what the school has to juggle on all sides.

I just recently finished my 3 years at Robious Middle School and I must say that it did not prepare me for my high school program now. I got into a speciality center in Chesterfield county and I am just now realizing how little the honors program has benefited me. The honors students are not introduced to the same harder level classes even though it is possible for honors students to take the courses. For example, earth science was kept on the down low for honors student but the cbg students were encouraged to take it. Also, the cliques in the honors program are horrible. The cliques rarely socialize within other cliques and the students fail to socialize with all people instead of just within their cliques. Besides my endless frustrations with this school, I must mention that I felt that some of my teachers were great and tried to really connect with their students.

This is by far the best school in chesterfield county. The teachers are amazing, it he first day of school I felt like I fit in and was normal. I have a group of friends swarming me at all times. Bullying was NEVER a problem for anyone, No fights, nothing (: Overall an A++++ school!

I'm an 8th grader here at rms and i love it here! I'm going to miss it next year. The teachers and staff are amazing they are always there when you need them. But I think they need to improve on the bullying problems. The teachers need to be more aware of that. Other than that, RMS is great!

I am thinking of moving to this school district from the west end of Richmond , Henrico county. Do you think that this middle school rates as well or better in 2013 than the Henrico County middle school in Technology and teacher / student ratio, bullying and teacher teaching levels and approachability ???

Hopefully things are turning around at Robious now that Mr. Siddiqi is no longer there. He was more concerned about trying to be everyone's friend instead of a leader, and he drove that school into the ground while my children were there.
