Teachers are great. this school is great at leadership and has 0 bullying tolerance. 9/10. Teachers dont explain things twice, and its best to attend this school if you are an average student. Short homework also.

My daughter is entering 2nd grade. She loves this school. The teachers are wonderful! She performs well above grade level. The teachers give her different materials to keep her fully engaged and challenged. The school also does a great job addressing the mental health and social-emotional needs of the students. Parents are very involved too.

Both my kids are attending this school. it is amazing! It feels like a private school.

My son is about to complete his 1st grade here - It's a great school. The teachers here are excellent. My son's teacher encourages everyone to take upon challenges in learning and doesn't put them down if they attempted a hard Q and gave a wrong answer. My son gets through the regular math classwork pretty easily and she gives him next level math Qs. Spelling is the same way. The kids read in groups according to their reading level. She also manages to disciple the kids without putting them down. She holds the attention of the entire class without any shouting or giving consequences (she just says 'class class class' and everyone stops talking and listen by responding 'yes yes yes' :-) The PTSA is great - they provide many additional stuff and afterschool activities- our favorites are the Math Challenge, the Art Class and the Science Fair. I was part of the PTSA for art and have first hand seen the dedication of the parents in supporting this school.

Audubon is a decent school. Nothing amazing. Some highlights: Many of the teachers are good and try to go a good job teaching the kids. And both of my kids like it there. The principal is invisible and doesn't provide any leadership. At the start of the year picnic when my kids were starting their second year at the school, we got our food, sat at a picnic table and talked to some parents. When the lady who sat quiet and apart at the corner of the table left, I asked my daughter who that was. She told me it was the principal! That was the first time I had ever seen her! She didn't ask us anything at all! There are virtually no scheduled art classes at the school. The teachers try to get volunteer parents to have an art project once every few weeks. The kids sorely miss art. The school has an extra short day every Wednesday. That complicates every parent's weekly schedule. Why not even it out? My daughter had her WA State exams a month before the end of the school year. Guess what she did the rest of the year? Nothing! The school schedules conferences during school times, letting students get out early each day. Everyone's schedule is messed up the entire week.
