Pressure cooker school with memorization. This school fits a certain demographic. Caring teachers with very little to say on teaching. No support for children with learning or emotional disability. Large classes and high turnover of teachers.

I have had the privilege of being a parent at Cedar Crest Academy for four incredible years, and I cannot emphasize enough what a remarkable school it is. From the nurturing environment to the exceptional teachers, our experience at Cedar Crest Academy has been nothing short of extraordinary.The teachers at Cedar Crest Academy deserve special recognition for their warmth and unwavering support. Ms. Linda, Ms. Becky, Ms. Keri, Ms. Brenda and Ms. Luna, have gone above and beyond to create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment for our children. Their dedication to their craft and genuine care for each student is truly commendable. Our family is forever grateful for the positive impact they have had on our children's educational journey.Cedar Crest Academy is not just a school; it is a community that fosters growth, friendship, and personal development. The sense of belonging we felt as parents was incredible, and we were constantly impressed by the school's commitment to individualized attention and holistic education. The school's approach to academics, combined with extracurricular activities, has provided our children with a well-rounded education that goes beyond the classroom.Moreover, the school's emphasis on character development and instilling core values has helped shape our children into compassionate and responsible individuals. My son graduated from Kindergarten after spending 2 years at CCA Redmond this year. We moved him to CCA from a great daycare nearby, to increase his focus on academics. While that goal was more than achieved, the overall package with all the extra curricular and social activities that he got a chance to participate in, has just blown us away! Kindergarten highlights included: he got to perform on stage in two very well put together productions and really enjoyed the experience of learning dancing with his classmates. He has worked ~5 monthly projects that culminate in poster presentations that have given him confidence and taught him the basics of researching different topics and presenting them to an audience. Apart from that, we got daily and weekly insights and quarterly progress reports on the work the teachers were doing with him without having to ask.The teachers and staff have been fantastic throughout our time with them. From the care they provided in helping get our son settled in, to the regular interaction and feedback from them on his strengths and improvement areas. We couldn't really have asked for better support! Highly recommend this school!
