Really supportive administration and staff. Lots of community engagement events that are well attended and where students are excited about attending and preforming at. There is a lot of celebration of different cultures at this school. You can see it in their events and even on the walls of the school as you walk through it. Any issues are addressed with parents promptly. Lots of respect for the school culture here.

Ms B, Ms Obaid, Ms Sallam and the entire staff at Ardmore Elementary has been nothing short of amazing. Their welcoming and caring attitude, coupled with a commitment to inclusivity, fosters a supportive atmosphere that makes both students and parents feel valued. Our daughter, who is a 1st grader in the Arabic language program loves attending Ardmore Elementary, and it's evident that the school is very focused on the overall well-being and growth of each child. The Arabic language program has been a fantastic choice for us, offering a unique and enriching educational experience. One more thing, the new principal, an accomplished leader with a successful track record in establishing and running a Mandarin school in BSD, brings valuable experience and a passion for language education. This expertise is reflected in the engaging and effective learning environment created for our children.

As someone who just moved from Northern California, displaced by wildfires and struggling to find work, Ardmore has been fantastic for my son and me. The staff is so kind; his kindergarten teacher is the sweetest; the staff wanted to make sure they used the correct pronouns for him; they gave us food and child clothing assistance. If they were somehow not the best before, something has changed for the better because I'm disappointed that we'll be moving to Lake Washington district, and my son will have to go to a new school. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure that school will also be excellent, but Ardmore has been so good to us. We appreciate it and would recommend it to anyone.

We love Ardmore! Our daughter had a great year in Kindergarten. Her teacher, Ms Lopez, was very kind, attentive, challenged the kids and made learning fun for them. My daughter came home daily talking about how much she liked her teachers and how she was making friends with kids who were from all over the world. She excelled in her reading, writing and math. Her confidence and excitement for learning grew.

Mr. Miller is one of a great Principal. The staff is really awesome. Each one of them ensurse their student's growth, meets parents to give a regular feedback about their students. This is one of a great school. My daughter was in 1st grade and loved to go to school everyday. Keep up the momentum Mr.Miller & the great staff!

Ardmore is a small and diverse public elementary school in an excellent school district. I really like the community of parents/caregivers, families, teachers, staff and administrators. The values of inclusion, positivity, community and diversity are felt and appreciated in this small community.

We love this school and its community. The teachers and the principal and assistant principal are dedicated and build relationships with kids and parents. Ardmore has some unique advantages, it is a very diverse school and it pulls from a range of areas in Bellevue, so you get the Bellevue School District curriculum same as any other local school but your kids also get exposure to many different languages, cultures, and some innovative ways of teaching since they have become skilled at bringing the "melting pot" together. I feel that the kids are exposed not just to good academics but also to good social and cultural themes at this school. The PTSA is small but active, always opportunities for parents to be involved and the teachers invite parent volunteers in the classrooms too.

My daughter was in private schools till 4th grade. These past couple of years at Ardmore proved to be a great. She loves the school, she made new friends, She really made a progress in Math and reading. her 5th grade teachers are among the best she had in years. The school facilities are new and the new principle is doing awesome work and is very dedicated. Highly recommend this school and I believe it has a bad reputation for nothing.

The new Principal is highly motivated and is on top of his communications with parents: social media, automated/online voice-mail system, and monthly printed newsletters. Our two children are entering 2nd and 3rd grade. The third graders are a much larger cohort than the 4th, and thus, there have been new teacher hires for the last three years. The school has increasing overall enrollment. Fortunately, it was rebuilt only a few years ago, and they have room to expand into underutilized classrooms. My eldest daughter has had a newly hired teacher for every year there. We have seen how fast their colleagues get them up to speed and work together to build a cohesive team of teachers across the same grade level. They work together in curriculum preparation, activities, and pool the kids together across the three classes for properly leveled reading and math activity groups (with the help of volunteer parents). It is an inclusive and diverse environment for the kids: with a close proximity to Microsoft and a catchment area that includes lower income families. There is significant socioeconomic diversity which fosters a wonderful environment to learn from one another.

My son just finished kindergarten at Ardmore and seemed to love it. It was a good school for the most part. The new principal was very interactive and easy to get in contact with. The curriculum was also good, I would have to say my only issue with the school was a select few teachers. My sons teacher in particular seemed to be a little all over the place to say the least. From forgetting to send home things to mixing up kids names on progress reports. I have talk to a few parents and it seems on children's progress reports were the exact same except different names on them. If your child goes to kindergarten her I would just suggest keeping in communication with other parents and with the teacher

I loved Ardmore. I had 2 kids that studied at Ardmore and I could never understand why people avoided this school. My daughter were always very lucky and had always great teachers that were able to challenge them and keep them working hard and improving. One of my kids left the school in her middel school years to joing the Gifted program and I am thankful to the Ardmore teachers by helping her get there. With classrooms that have kids in a variety of academic levels, the teacher were always very capable and knowledgeable to keep the class moving forward and in control allowing all the kids to progress and evolve. The new Principal is very approachable and very good at what she does!

The school is beautiful and the staff is awesome! They are very helpful and address to your questions carefully and with full determination. My son is in 1st grade and this is his first year in the school. Initially we were a little tensed about how he'd adjust with new surroundings, but his teacher is extremely caring and on her toes to help kids. The whole staff is a bunch of enthusiasts who are willing to teach your kids with new challenges ready for them which makes studies so exciting for them. They are very welcoming and approachable. New office manager (Mrs. Nordstrom) is very polite and dependable! I've loved this school and am sure, though I don't know half of the staff because I don't interact with them much, they all are excellent!!

My son is in Kindergarten at Ardmore and we love it there. I just read the last post about recess and before school arrival "chaos." I would have had to agree. However, the things have been changed after parental concern. Now, the waiting areas are spread out in the am with the littlest kids in one area and the bigger kids elsewhere. Lunch recess has also been revamped. I feel like kids will be kids everywhere and it is our duty to be involved if we see anything that we don't like. The actual curriculum, staff, and code of conduct is awesome. My son has 3rd and 5th graders that help his reading group. He loves it. They have a beautiful, fully rebuilt school. The Principal is awesome and the new office manager, for that matter, is on the ball.
