Medina Academy has been a great investment for my son and daughter emotionally, intellectually, and religiously. My son, graduated from college, and my daughter is currently in her second year of college. Medina provided a safe environment and an excellent foundation for my children’s future. The staff is qualified, caring, and kind. The leadership strong and equitable. A challenging and up-to-date curriculum including the common core standards. A product of the public school system myself, I noticed a profound difference in the quality of education at Medina Academy, and the importance of including Islamic principles integrated and implemented in everyday school life. Thank you, Medina, staff and administration, for striving to be the best in every possible way!

As a current parent, I am a big fan of the current principal and school. Every day my children look forward to coming to school. They very much enjoy their time in school and learning new things each day. They participate in a variety of activities and events and enjoy both their teachers and classmate’s company. They are having a great time and lots of fun too! I would like to thank the principal and the school’s staff. You are doing fantastic work on the students. Thank you for teaching the students lifetime skills and indispensable knowledge to stand out. We appreciate your efforts in guiding the students through the right path. You are playing a crucial role in their lives, and we thank you for that. Keep up the excellent work. Additionally, I appreciate the school's commitment to providing a safe, loving, and Islamic environment for its students.

Our experience at Medina Academy has been truly exceptional. The teachers are genuinely invested in children’s education and their growth as learners. My oldest daughter joined this school in Kindergarten and has just graduated from Medina Academy middle school this year. We are so grateful that she was able to go to this school for all these years. She learned valuable leadership skills while learning at her own pace. We’ve been a part of this school for 9 years and I have nothing but great reviews and wonderful overall experience to share. The administration is open minded and think outside the box to make it a successful educational experience for the students. Medina Academy is committed to the whole child. They teach value lessons, communication and are committed to providing our children with Islamic knowledge, practices and environment needed for their spiritual growth and success in this life and the hereafter. This school has been a second home for our family. May Allah continue to bless Medina Academy and keep it growing. Aameen!

School infrastructure needs work. Portable cabins are not a good long term solution and nothing has changed in last 20 years. Community should come together to support this.School principal extremely unprofessional. I understand school is looking for a permanent principal but acting one should be equally qualified and most importantly with good ethics. We had couple of good principals in the past such hardly last in this school wish they sticked around.Teachers are mostly ex-students mothers or someone who wants to experiment teaching. They absolutely have no training, license or patience to teaching or engaging with students. Good teachers hardly stick around and almost all never plan on applying to this school due to its culture.Environment is ok if you want kids to grow up in a setting where emphasis on Islamic studies is given. No other Islamic school here no option but to put my kiddo here.

Student /teachers healthy relationships were seen where students feel safe and confident in sharing their goals to achieve success in their learning and growing practices through collaborative learning and student interaction with peers. The staff and the admin is very supportive. Totally recommend this school.

School environment is very safe and very highly academic. Principle always welcomes to new ideas and always works with parents. She is always smiling and very kind with students and parents. We always felt very comfortable in discussing our needs with her. School are very highly qualified and certified teachers.

The principal get so angry at the smallest things. they are unfair to the boys and don't get the girls in trouble at all.

I had my kid going to school here and ended up removing her. The school leadership changed in between but that did not bring any improvements. The issue is deeply rooted in quality of staff/teachers, facility, extra student support and lack of vision. Diversity and cultural aspect is good on the other hand. Overall, if there are better options available I would recommend staying away.

Medina Academy provides a learning environment which focuses not just on academics but also on character building. The teachers are nice, friendly and loving. The curriculum follows state guidelines and is similar to good public schools in the district. I would highly recommend this school to others who want a strong Islamic foundation for their kids.

Poor, administration changed during the time spent here, parents would be overly involved in trying to tell their child’s teacher how/what/when to teach. Extreme disorganization in coordinating between families/staff/etc for any events. Lots of unprofessionalism in difficulties handled by less experienced administration approaching parents about issues they should be handling. More than one teacher left in one school year as well as administration and support staff.

I will suggest think twice before you enrolled in this school. If your child made one mistake, he will be on watch list and pick on by principal and teachers forever. The principal quote is " I don't know what to do ". Arabic teachers and assistant teachers were very unprofessional. Please check out at recess and PE time, teachers were yelling and screaming at kids. They will make your kids low self esteem.

I am very happy with Medina Academy. A school that is growing yearly with new projects, activities, and academics. Both my boys go to Medina- one in 1st and the other in preschool. Supportive and caring teachers who love them as if they are their own.

Over the past few years Medina Academy has provided my child with a safe, clean and nurturing environment. My child is the youngest among his peers in class and is achieving above his grade level. My child's teacher really encourages him to always put his forth effort in reading, and math and provides rewards for hard work, he received two certificates in one week for reaching his goals. He has made lots of friends and has great positive role-models from the teachers and the administration. My child also enjoys the monthly fun PTO activities. We will definitely miss this school if we have to re-locate.

Different rules between English teachers and Arabic teachers made kids very confusing, Arabic teachers and assistant teachers had favoritism on kids, even principal did not give fair treatment on the kids, example : 2 kids were playing on lesson time at their desk while principal was observing in the classroom and he did not talk with both kids, he chose one kid to give a lecture instead of both kids. Terrible management, disorganized and teachers are not getting along each other instead of helping each other or team work. Teachers were criticizing each other, so sad to see that. Now I hired the Arabic teacher at home to teach my kids and put them in public school, they were very happy and they could tell the different between medina and public school because they got to go to advanced class in public school which Medina did not have that option. Arabic teachers, Assistant teachers made kids to become low self esteemed and I am so glad that my children were out of this school and I saved money and not wasted at this school.

at the very least this school teaches Islamic studies along with the regular subjects. School staff is disorganized. No active communication b/w parents and teachers

Medina Academy is one of the best schools I have ever experienced for my child. My daughter is going there and I wish they had enough room to accommodate my son as well. May Allah give all of the staff at MA more strength and patience to succeed further in serving the Muslim kids.
