This school is conveniently near the Redmond down town. This school segregates special needs kids and sends them to different campus which had a huge impact on me. Principal and teacher lack inclusivity.

It’s a big school with a BIG HEART. My daughter is in her third year here and is thriving. The principal is very engaged and enthusiastic, and the teachers are so dedicated and caring. Academics are strong, but most importantly, the social and emotional support for the kids is simply amazing. The school embraces the diversity of real Redmond - the racial, ethnic, and economic diversity of our community.

This school is not supportive for kids with special needs. My daughter has anxiety issues and the teachers that we have experienced framed her as someone with behavioral problems and keep punishing her by withholding her recess unless the parents acknowledge them. We were hoping to communicate with the teachers to work out a solution but the principal stepped in and is downhill from there. There is a strong correlation to when my daughter has her recess withheld to when we wanted to talk to the teachers to find a positive solution. Good luck communicating with the school to address just a simple emotional need of anxiety. Run from this school, it's hopeless and rotten from the top.

We've had absolutely great experience with this school so far. My daughter was English learner and now her English is much better than her first language. Her scores all high. Teachers are amazing and always very kind! And at the end of school year my child was crying for taking break from school. She is always excited to go back to school and her academic accomplishments makes us very excited.

Not efficient in handling online strategy during Covid. The last one to respond for online education then had a crappy system the parents had to adhere to. So disappointing! Many parents have formed groups online to complain and get support.

Not so nice principal. She's outside the school everyday like a military looking for kids to call out and scold upon. Her aura is not very loving.

My son has had excellent experience in the past 3 years! Teachers are amazing and always lending an ear to the children's problems. Very approachable and friendly teachers. Even the office staff is very helpful and always smiling! We are always grateful to the staff and teachers for helping our son have a safe and happy learning environment in school!

Redmond Elementary comes together once again. This year the Redmond Elementary community along local business help were able to raise funds in one year to build a new playground. Parents assisted in prepping the location of the new playground by working together, side by side to remove sod. Job completed in 3 hours, it was a TEAM effort and once again shows what a strong community Redmond Elementary has.

My children attend Redmond El. We appreciate the well rounded community and integration of so many cultures and languages. While there can be an impact to testing scores due to so many ESL children, the positive impact of cultural exposure is excellent. Parents who do engage are terrific. There are many parents who could join in to enhance the experiences of the children. Redmond offers a terrific set of services for children to accommodate different learning curves and does a tremendous job of not making those children stand out and ensures the children keep pace. The campus is very safe and centrally located. It is the oddest residential borders of the elementary schools in the city, but it is not enough to be a major issue, just not always ideal.

I like this school because it has good teachers who pay attention to every student. Teacher and the all staff members are very inspiring and they encourage kids in a positive way so that kids can improve their self in a better way. I appreciate that they give homework and encourage kids to do that. Overall Redmond Elementary schools environment is very nice in every aspect, caring, inspiring, loving and overall am very happy that my daughter studies there.

Please don't have your child with Ms. B.... (I cannot write her full name because the site does not allow that.) She is mean, a bully, and humiliates her students. A lot of parents have removed their kids from her because she is a bully. My kid last year had her and I heard a lot of stories about her. I totally agree with the review prior to mine. Same experience!

We just moved here from the east coast and this school has not met my academic expectations at all. The school we left was in the top 20 schools in Massachusetts and I have yet to see any overlap in the education system here. I understand the no child left behind philosophy, but the children that are at the top of their game are losing out and are left stagnant and bored. My child can do all the math homework for the week in 10 minutes. So the rest of the week we provide her with more challenging home school curriculum. She comes home daily and says she is bored at school. I'm not sure what the policy is for behavioral management but my daughter has come home frequently complaining they missed recess and had to sit with their foreheads on their desk for 15 minutes because a few kids couldn't get their act together. Why does everyone miss out for the wrong doings of others and the head on the desk thing is a big no no. It is demeaning and a form of humiliation to the children. Behaviors can be addressed in a lot more positive manners in my opinion. Overall I am disappointed in this school. I do not feel they are committed to the child who exceed the state standards.

We just moved here from another country and our children really enjoy the school, which has good teachers and caring parents. The ELL teacher is excellent and our children's English is improving quickly. I also appreciate the diversity of the students and the families. We are glad we chose this school.

The teachers and staff could care less about the childrens education, they send them home with these homework packets that nobody cares to check for errors before the kids get them so the kids are learning wrong information, the staff bully the children and some make perverted comments toward the kids and the staff ignore it and dont take any action to fix the problem. In my opinion its the lowest of the low and a sad disgusting place.
