  Unless your child is in special ed this school does not care about your child's learning. In my daughters class there is a child who screams, runs around the classroom, breaks things, and interrupting the teacher. My daughter says the teachers are annoyed that it happens every day and try to talk to the child to get him to stop but he doesn't. My daughter is unable to focus on her work and her learning is always being disrupted by this student. When I called the teacher, I was told the student is in special ed and is only in the classroom a limited amount of time but there was nothing she can do about it and is equally frustrated by the lack support from the school and principal about this student. My daughter has also told me about the other students who are always kicking desks, doors, yelling over the teacher at other students and disrespect towards the teachers in the building. Many times my daughter has told me they were unable to finish their work and finish the story they were reading because other kids are yelling at each other, the teacher, and disrupting the class. When I asked her what the teacher does, she says the teacher tries to calm them down, sometimes tries to ignore them, and sometimes asks for someone to take the student out of the class the kids come back with treats. She said the teacher has stopped sending the kids out unless they earned it but says its not fair they get a "reward" for doing what they are supposed to do. This school pretends to care about all of their students when they only care about the special education students and do nothing to help the students who are actually trying to learn.
