Worst place to send your child. I’d rather shovel rocks for $10/hour than work there. The STAFF and DCS are the issues.

My son attended that school for nine months and I never heard anything from his teachers. Never seen a teacher comment, never had or was invited to a teacher conference and am completely on the dark about anything that goes on with my son’s academics. Don’t know his teachers names or anything about the school except that he gets good grades. This is the case worker responsibility, they are the ones who have no experience with dealing with parents who are involved and care about their children. They are used to non active parents and seems to prefer to keep it that way. I thought this would be a better experience and that I would have a positive experience to share with my community to encourage other parents to get help with their children. But unfortunately that hope has been destroyed. After leaving a review after ignored emails and hopefully they won’t take my opinions out on my son by trying to hold him back as they often do when o have a concern to speak up about.

So far good. My boy has been there just over two months and is now wanting to work on our relationship. I'll let you know how it goes.

After writing my review and been given access to read all other reviews please let me add for other people that have reviewed on the school...Most of you are NUTS AND HAVE NO CLUE! I will agree that there are a lot of parents out their that just drop their child off because they don't want to deal with them any more. But then you have parents like me that have a special needs child that needs a controlled enviorment for their child until their child has matured enough for a special needs to be able to function better in todays sociaty. My rules at home have been and will always be very simalar to Canyon State. Canyon state does not know how to deal with parents that actually care. They assume we are all the same.
