We have been so blessed to have had two daughters go through Desert Mountain. We have LOVED their teachers. If you are looking for a well rounded experience and you want your children to have FUN while learning this is the place!!

Both my children love DME! They have had fantastic teachers, who have all been great at communicating with parents. We love the principal. He is always walking the halls, high fiving kids, and standing out front during drop off. You can tell he loves what he does and he cares about the school and the kids. The PTO works so hard to put on amazing events for the kids, and the parent turn out is always impressive. I completely disagree with the negative review below about the front office being lazy and unprofessional. I've had nothing but positive, friendly experiences in my dealings with them. Great school in a great community.

The front office staffs are lazy and unprofessionals. They seem hating their job. I feel it doesn't have much security to stop intruders to enter and go inside the school. The principle has poor manners and doesn't care for school appearance and security. It was so clean and nice until he came two years ago. He seems to job do as minimum is possible and go home. The bullying is off the chart and he doesn't take the patent's concern seriously. I hope he shows care for school and student and parents.

Great teacher and staff. Feels like a family. Hope it stays that way.

Moved from out of state and was worried how my kids would transition to the new school. It was better than expected! Great staff, welcoming environment. Very happy with our first full year here! Looking forward to next year!

Very Poor! My son has attended DME since kindergarten. Unfortunately, the new principal that was hired, Mr. Richardson, has brought negativity, bullying, and only focus on money to our once wonderful DME :(

This school was wonderful a couple of years back but since fall of 2015 when a new principal came in, it has gone down hill pretty fast. Losing some of their best teachers and lack of administrative leadership skills definitely shows!

DME is a great school! As soon as you walk in the door, you can feel a positive atmosphere. The staff is outstanding and the kids seem genuinely happy and glad to be there. We love DME!

Desert Mountain Elementary is providing an outstanding education for my daughter. She reads above her grade level and has developed excellent math skills. Their staff of teachers work hard to keep the children interested in their lessons and make learning fun. Their PTO is heavily involved and offers exciting fundraisers and events throughout the year. Overall, this is a great school for your child's educational experience.

I have a child in kindergarten and one in 3rd grade. We live this school. The staff is excellent and they push children towards success. They encourage good character ans there is a great small town feel about the school. We have been happy with all of the teachers wehve had his far. They are great at communicating and encourage parent involvement. Test scores are above those of local charter schools, as well! So happy we made the decision to attend DME. The Baez family

My daughter loves this school so far but not one year when she was in first she had ms.watkins so she is a very mean teacher so don't let your child get into her class. This year she is in third grade and loving it. She has a combined class this year with 3rd and 4th. She is in mrs. Quinteros class. she is a nice teacher. Don't forget to let you child go to Desert Mountain Elementary school!!!
