For the fourth year in a row on the first day of school I have received a phone call that one of my 3 children have been put on the wrong bus and are unable to be located . When trying to express our unhappiness Meghan Ellis (the assistant principal) showed no sympathy , never apologized and tried to divert blame elsewhere . This is unacceptable and I can only hope that in the future this doesn’t happen to someone else’s child . I will say that my children’s teachers have been great and this review of one star is due to the negligent actions as stated previously not because of the wonderful teachers we have encountered .

I just love this school this school has the best friendly hard working teachers and staff. They care for their students. My daughter Grace just loves her teacher.

Caring teachers, A beautiful clean new school and a safe and fun environment. All Powhatan schools are fully accredited. Truly a quality education!

My school is fantastic! We have kind, caring teachers. The teachers are really good about informing parents on their child's progress on a daily basis and also make time to help children on an individual basis. Fun and exciting learning tools. My kids really enjoy going to school here! The staff as a whole are wonderful! Great cafeteria as well, with healthy lunches!
