    Our experience so far has not been the best. This school has no continuity between what kids learn in one grade and what is expected at the next grade. Third grade did not teach my son enough for him to be successful in 4th grade, and I was told to make it up in my spare time with him, outside of school. The school also only looks out for the PACE students. They deem these students as the most important over all other students. Another issue is too much favoritism for the PTA parents and their children. This makes the school experience good only for the kids whose parents are very active in the PTA. Almost all the kids who win "School awards" are kids who have parents in the PTA, or are friends with the parents in the PTA. Working parents, especially working mothers are looked down upon at this school. They have some good teachers, but too many teachers are buddies with the PTA parents which provides unfair advantages for the kids of those PTA parents. I can't recommend this school, it's very disappointing.

    I like Shepard Principal. It has excellent Staff members and extra curricular activities. I like their Math night idea and parents engagement is also excellent.
