I still have to have my kids in the school for the next 3 years. For one of my kids third grade was horrible experiences. I will post more when all my kids are out of this school and I will be thankful to be out.

Not the biggest fan of the school. My daughter was a transfer student into kindergarten. We started the school year late so we missed orientation which also made the transition hard. The communication with her teacher wasn’t the best initially. Probably because she was a sub. Her actual teacher was out and never came back. The sub was not able to stay through the school year in which they communicated with us that they hired a teacher for the remainder of the year. This teacher didn’t end up being the actual teacher because we then received another email stating that they were hiring someone else because the other person wouldn’t be starting. Luckily they eventually found a teacher that stayed who was really good. Overall, we didn’t have the best introduction to the school and based on the opportunities my child had at her previous school, Eichelberger was very disappointing. Also it was heartbreaking to know that the children don’t receive any type of recognition with transitioning from kindergarten to first grade and the excuse I received was because of COVID and that the area doesn’t celebrate the students in that way which is sad. I would highly recommend doing research on all the schools in the area. Given our circumstances, we didn’t have much time to consider other options but in hindsight, Eichelberger would not have been the choice. The only reason it receives the rating I am giving it is because I really appreciated my child’s teacher once they were able to find one.

My daughter had a great experience here! She had a wonderful teacher who cared about her academic success. She really enjoyed the beautiful library and all of her special classes like art and music and PE too!

Principal Harris has been with the school for the past 10+ and has fostered a wonderful environment for all the children. Very caring teachers and strong teaching in acceptance and caring for others. The honors courses helped my children succeed in middle school and now in High School. The PTA & parents are very welcoming, hardworking and fun with lots of great family events all year long!

Fantastic teachers, active PTA, string parent involvement and a wonderful, involved and hands-on principal who knows the name of every child in the school. Teachers communicate frequently with parents and my children are excited to go to school and learn each day. Impressed with teacher's creativity and STEM incorporation. Very happy with Eichelberger!

Eichelberger is by far a top elementary school in every way. But I am going to speak for the special services it provides. My daughter is in 4th grade and has been going there since kindergarten. My other 3 children have or had gone to Catholic grammar schools, one still going who is her twin sister. My daughter has special needs and could not go to the Catholic school so the twins needed to be split. I had a bad experience in the past with my oldest at a public school so I was very nervous. The 2 main teachers she has had since she has gone there are Mrs. Young and Mrs. Tirado and they are outstanding. I always say that greatness comes from the top down and Principal Harris is great. My daughters speech issues are a huge part of her need and speech therapist Mrs. Hoffman is the best around! My daughter has learned things she would have never learned anywhere else and she enjoys school. She has seizures as well and Nurse Ann cares so very much and always keeps in contact with me no matter how minor the scratch. The office is always willing to help me and all other aides and support staff are magnificent! I only have one more year & I will never forget what an amazing school it is

Eichelberger has been a great school so far.My daughter is in 4th grade and has been there since kindergarten.She loves it!On the very first day of school,she made a lot of friends and her teacher was very nice.All the time since that day she has been excited for learning.I have have also met the principal,Mr.Harris.He is super great! I can tell he does hard work to keep it positive and nice.I recommend this to any child K-5!

Teachers, Principal, and academics are great! I wish the office staff would be a little more pleasant.
