This school got to be the #1 worst of my opinion because..--1. The teachers were not really very nice they made me sit back at the table and she was texting the teacher and I didn't care a few moments later, I was crying like tears in the back of my eyes.2. They serve these kids but might not be cooked / placed right. 3. Not enough healthy stuff they feed these kids just junk.4. They Never cared about kids health.5. They will just yell at u instead of just relaxing and talking through like a normal school.-----------Don't Go To This School

Some students are not valued as much as others within this school and are not properly supported as much. I literally refuse to allow my child to be ignored and treated indifferently because of their personality, race, and abilities. Despite several attempts to work with my child’s teacher, Assistant Principal, and Principal I was not convinced that they had my child’s best interests in mind. The Assistant Principal blatantly lied about what she said about our child directly to our face. I am truly disappointed and I hope that further investigation is taken on how certain children and parents are handled at the school and in this district. My child has been pulled from this entire district and I don’t have confidence or trust in this current school administration at Creekside. Hopefully, they will improve because most of the entire front office including the Principal and Assistant Principal are new and don't have great elementary experience. The teacher (my child experienced) claims to have over 20 years of experience but lacks a consistent strategy, structure, and communication skills to effectively communicate with students and parents. Learn how to speak to young children who are entry-level and stop treating them as teenagers. They are learning social, emotional, and other foundational skills, therefore; meeting them where they are, supporting and EFFECTIVE communication with their parents is very important at this stage. It has to be a collaborative effort and involves a community that really cares, respects, and values everyone. This is NOT the case at Creekside during the 2023-24 school year. Again, the best of luck in improving your inclusiveness, strategy, structure, and overall learning environment. However, my child's future will not lie in the balance of Creekside's preparedness and alignment on becoming inclusive. This is something that should have already existed and it should also be apparent in the staff and teachers you employ. More diversity and cultural awareness are needed. I hope the more you advertise how much you "value and welcome everyone" that actually becomes a reality and that you also learn how to back those words with actions and proven evidence.

My experience was fine. It wasn’t the best school, but definitely not the worst.

We have three children attending Creekside Elementary. As an educator for 15plus years, I have to say that this is one of the best schools I've been involved with and I am so proud that it is the school my own children attend. The women at the front office are welcoming and so knowledgable about the day to day activities of the school and district. The administrators are present and friendly at all of the school events. I've had great experiences with everyone from the lunch staff, bus drivers, and classroom teachers. The teachers at Creekside are knowledgable and prepared for the increasing rigor of education and the common core. The parents and community members are also a huge part of what makes this such a great school. The additional activities and fun events created and carried out by the PTA are endless and include a fun run, parent game nights, monthly dinners with teachers, and a huge family fair. We've really enjoyed our time at Creekside with our children and look forward to the years we will experience in the future.
