We started at this school when it first opened. Our three children went to this amazing school and while two are in college, they still talk about some of their experiences at SCE. This school is DEFINITELY a family in which I wish we were still a part of. I feel like this school gave my children the best start in their successful academic careers. From the administration to the teachers to the custodial staff and the cafeteria, they all made my children feel loved and welcomed.

I have/had 5 children and a niece and a nephew so far go through SCE and I can't say enough good things about them! It is truly like a family there. Out of all the teachers we have had, I only had one less than ideal experience because she wasn't sure how to handle my gifted child, but she no longer teaches there. My advanced readers are given books appropriate to their level, if my child needed help, the teachers would reach out, there is TONS of communication via email, text, Remind...lots of avenues... The teachers are responsive and kind and most seem to have a genuine passion for teaching. My kids have done Honor Choir, Lego Robotics, the gifted program, KCAN broadcasting club, student volunteering, student council...we've experienced just about everything SCE has to offer. My niece and nephew have experience in the special ed dept and my brother and SIL have nothing but positive things to say about them and were very sad when my niece was moved to a different elementary school due to zoning. We built a new house specifically in the SC district in order to keep my younger children at that school. I can't recommend it enough!

It was horrible. Luckily we do not have to deal with this school anymore. Home school your child instead of sending them to this school.
