UCP Downtown is a horrible place!!! Administration is not supportive. They are not organized. Half the staff does not show up for work. The facility has a lot of issues (mold and broken down playground) and lack of resources. The environment is negative and overwhelming. The children are sweet, but administration does not support their teachers.

My granddaughter went to UCP for 2 years when she had tremendous development delays at 18 months old. She made exceptional progress, and today is in a regular school in the 4th grade. We found the environment to be very caring and individualized in a way that helped Kyla to thrive there. I have made numerous recommendations to UCP when I hear of parents who are struggling with any level of developmental delays, or health issues with their children. I give my highest recommendation! Getting Kyla the help she needed was instrumental in the life she now enjoys.

My child has autism. Even though the school claims to be experts on special needs, the availability of staff with the skill set to actually support our son with his issues is practically nonexistent. I will say that this particular campus was not the campus my child attended.

Fantastic school... they were extremely sensitive to my child's needs and were truly a blessing to our family. My son attended the campus on Dillard St. in Winter Garden, and he had some fantastic teachers, and of the various UCP facilities, this was the nicest we saw. Recommended!
