It's a good school the experience is good and the classrooms are nice and clean I like how the staff work hard to provide us healthy food for our bodies and that they also clean up for when we get to our class everything is neat which I am grateful for.

APBS is an extraordinary school where children grow up in a healthy environment of faith and biblical principles. In addition, the academic grades of the students improve because there are fewer students than in a public school. I recommend them 100%.

**Weird how so many positive reviews were posted on the same day** Anyway, the truth is dark, sad, and infuriating. Th couple who runs the school & church want your money/scholarship money, which they live nicely off of. All facilities at the school are bare minimum, staff is paid poorly, minimal technology, etc. Not even adequate security at the school. The Principal & husband, though are living the good life. Don’t be fooled, you’ll regret it.

APBS provides a great learning environment for the students and with classes ranging from 6 students to 15, the teachers are able to provide attention to all students as opposed to a public school setting with 20+ students in each class. I taught there for 4 years and I continually work there as a substitute teacher and I see the joy in the staff, students, and teachers making it for a great learning experience on a daily basis.

I want to start by saying I love Ms. Dookie. She has encouraged my daughter with reading and writing. Ms. Dookie has great communication and set the expectations at a level that are achievable. The Administration are helpful and make time to talk with me when they see me. My daughter doesn’t like when I pick her up early and that tells me it’s a good place.

This is one of the best schools for me and from the experience I have lived in this place, especially the parents and people in the community, speak very highly of the school.

I have been a student at APBS for a very long time, and I would like to say the school is a great place. Yes, some of the teachers need a little work and some of the students too, but if theres ever a problem you can always talk to our amazing deans. The staff is also super sweet and very family oriented. APBS is a very safe school and we are like a family. I would also like to add that since theres less students in the classroom its easier to learn and more one on one with the teacher. APBS also gives wonderful counseling and amazing tutoring. And APBS uses a christian curriculum so we are always learning about God and how he loves us so much. One more thing is that they give free lunch and its pretty good. I would LOVE if they would add just a little more seasoning but the food does the job well. So if you're looking for a wonderful christian school Azalea Park Baptist School is the place for you!

My experience has been absolutely amazing in this school. My daughter has come home excited about what she had learned in the day. Everytime I needed anything the teachers, front office, even the principal took care of everything. The staff is amazingly nice and helpful.

I have my three kids in APBS and they’re coming out from public school. And I could really see a dramatic change in them. Before they would come from public school and it was difficult for me to sit them down and help them do their work. Now, I see that they come from school and it’s a lot easier for them to do the work. And over everything I have seen the programs and the participation from all the students. Also the Christmas concert was excellent for my family! And the only thing I want to say is that it is an excellent school for my family and I believe for you too thank you.

My daughter has been at Azalea Park Baptist School since 1st grade and is now in middle school. She has been excelling academically since she started there. She came from pubic school and at Azalea Park Baptist School she learned to read and is now in honor roll. Middle school is challenging as kids grow up; but I am glad she is in small classes, a safe environment (the school has cameras and vaping detector). If a student decides to make a bad choice they have deans that look into it. This year and last year just like many school the had changes in staff but I learned that some public schools had substitutes in all classrooms so I guess it is a problem for many schools. They have tutoring and school counselor, they don't have a nurse (which i think they can use). They also have soccer, track, volleyball and basketball. My daughter used to be in their cheerleading team and track team. Now that she is a teen she does not want to do anything but at least they have the sports for kids that want to participate. The most important thing is that they use a Christian curriculum for elementary Abeka and for high school Bob Jones. this is important for my family because we feel the public system is just trying to indoctrinate children to accept and participate in things that perhaps not all parents want their kids to. I think when children should not be sexualized at an early age, they should be allow to be children and once they reach an age where they any any sexual interest they could explore it. Classrooms are not the place to emphasis gender identity, sexual preference etc. This school focuses on academic excellence and spiritual maturity and that is why I highly recommended.

Directors are Pastors of the church next to the school, teachers are obligated to assist at their church and they take tithes from their paycheck or they can’t work at the school, money for graduation is now incomplete and director said is not her problem.

I do not recommend this school at all, because the students don learn anything new, the teachers have only been in the school for less than a year and sometimes there is bullying from kids to other kids, the students don't even know how to behave well, and the teachers give students detention for things they did not do and make them do extra work, the restrooms are very dirty and they construct the restrooms when kids are in class instead of when they leave, my children have told me that this school is very traumatizing and that they hope that the school changes over the years, after all, I think that this school shouldn't even exist at all because of their bad behavior and the P.E teacher pays more attention to the students and makes them do work they don't even need which also risks their safety, and there is a back door in the staircase that can be opened by little kids that don't know the way back to the school. After all, this school is very bad and I don't recommend it if you want your child to have a good experience in school.
