Clean and organized school but teachers are not held accountable for holding students to higher expectations. Diversity in thoes afforded opportunities (performances, lead roles, etc.) is lacking. Hispanic children can not be the only ones taking lead in performances! Field trips are not taken here! That would be a great enrichment opportunity.

The area that the school is in is not that great. The school itself is relatively small and unimpressive. It's small and jail-like. The dismissal process is inefficient. The car loop fills up and if your their even 10 minutes before dismissal you can't even make it into the parking lot. They keep the walkers behind a locked fence and the attendant won't let them out until parent is there, which obviously is for the child's safety, I understand. But after being there almost everyday to pick up my child they still don't recognize me, and see that I'm waving at my kid and my kid is waving back at me, to open the gate and let him out is annoying. My child's teacher tells me during conferences that my child is doing good, but the progress and report cards show differently. When I ask what I can do to help I'm told to not worry too much because the rest of the class is on the same track. Which tells me the class as a whole is not on grade level. Definitely taking my child out next year!

Made a mistake sending kids to this school , uncaring and rude staff. Move out of this school.

My daughter in k, she likes this school very much, she has great teacher. She has alot of homework but it helps she learns fast, she didn't know how to read any side word at beginning, but only 1 semester, she can start read small books.

The front office staff is awful at this school. My child missed alot of school because of ongoing organ issues and we were met with uncaring and rude staff. All missed days had a signed Drs note. My child had no behavior issues, got all A's & scored the top grade on FCAT. Anyone else attending keep copies of everything you turn in to the office. They will try to say they don't have some signed drs notes and your over the alotted excused absenses. When you present copies of the notes turned in and show that you wrote down the dates in the childs planner. They will suddenly find the originals they have. The nurse will talk about you to teachers in front of your child and then deny it when you call her on it. Sad because the teachers are awesome.
