We moved to California specifically to go Kinder at this school and it was worth the life change. All children are being nurtured and individually shaped as little humans while learning to grow together. This should be the model in every school.

TLC is a wonderful learning environment where students not only learn academics but also learn how to care, respect, and show kindness to their peers. Each morning my child is greeted by students from all grade levels because the students learn to take care of one another. The teachers and staff are personable, approachable, and professional. They believe in the potential of each student and work with parents on how to bring out the best in each child. What I especially appreciate about this school is that all children are in the general education classroom together and not separated because of a disability or due to special accommodations.

This is my son’s first year at TLC and he is THRIVING. His teacher is wonderful and a great communicator. The rest of the staff is just as great! They know all the kids by name and treat them all with so much love and respect.

I have had all 3 of my children at TLC since they first opened. We love the small class sizes and the mission of the inclusiveness. When my daughter and son graduated TLC they both went into middle school with honors. They were well prepared for middle school and are doing great. We love that the administration is very welcoming. The founder and principal are always open to hear parent voices and really make an effort to accommodate parents needs/concerns. The teachers all have been great - this year they have really made an effort to keep the parents informed on their children's progress in school. I love that because as a busy parent I still feel connected to the school and know what is going on with my child. Lots of opportunities for parents to volunteer. Its been awesome watching TLC grow. I hope they eventually go up to 8th grade! Maybe even high school, my kids would have loved that!

Es una escuela maravillosa que en verdad le enseñan a los estudiantes el valor social, emocional, personal, amistoso y mucho más que todo es una escuela en la cual les enseñan el respeto por las personas y les dan muy buena enseñanza académica. No cambiaría a mi hijo a otra escuela que no sea TLC.Muchas gracias por toda su atención y sus servicios al personal de TLC

TLC has been a true blessing for our family. This marks our second year attending, and we eagerly anticipate many more to come. We hope these future years will be filled with continued growth for both our children and the school, all while remaining true to its mission.

As an educator I appreciate Schools who truly cater to their students needs. The school truly looks for providing a well-rounded experience for their students. I absolutely love that it’s a small school and that every single staff member knows the name of each student. I admire that the principal takes the time to know who each parents is and can easily match student to parent.

TLC Public Charter School is not a great place to have your student attend. There is a constant revolving door of staff and the administration is toxic and unsupportive. Your child will not get anything out of this place except a subpar education. The ONLY quality education happening in this school is their TK program. There is a reason that this school is ranked so low. The director has a way with words, do not fall for it and her reasonings behind these scores. She oftentimes gives staff silent treatments. She talks so negatively about families and their kids.
