Everyone has an impact at the school! If you have suggestions for improvement please bring them up to the principal. No one is going to criticize or judge. It's all confidential. I also wanted to thank Mrs. Godsey for all her hard work. She goes the extra mile to help our kids. There has been so much improvements from the kindergarten play ground to after school programs and so much more. Can't wait to see the upcoming years. My child is in a class that has two teacher's ,a job share situation. I have been in the classroom a few times and notice some things. The two teachers are not lesson planning together, which is a major concern because when you have a job share teaching situation both teacher's have to be on the same page planning together. The teaching should run smoothly and efficiently. I have seen big discrepancies with teaching styles, grading, overall atmosphere in the classroom with one teacher in particular. One teacher is doing more than the other teacher. When I have had a concern or question, I have to track down both teacher's and if the teacher can't answer my question I have to ask the other one. It has been very frustrating because as a parent I'm very involved and interested with my child's education. I feel teacher's want parents to be active but I feel my child is not being taught just the basic grade level standards. I am hesitant to speak to the principal because I don't want my child to be treated differently. I know if I say something the teachers may make it hard for my child.I'm very disappointed that the administration is not on top of this, I believe that nothing is being checked to see if the job share is working. I will be taking my child out of this school, I am saddened that I had high hopes of this school and was let down.

Ms Slattery in TK at Palmyra is excellent! Very friendly and gives daily updates through the ClassDojo app. She is making my son's first year of school an easy transition from being at home. He wakes up eager to go to school to learn new things each day!

Mr. Hausner is doing a great job as the new principal in the '11-'12 school year. My kids are in 4th and 6th grade GATE classes at Palmyra, and Mrs. Scheidt and Mrs. Campbell are wonderful teachers. My kids are having a really good year academically and socially.

Funny that every review about how HORRIABLE this school and it's office staff and principal, Ms. Smith covers for the rude office staff and hides from parents when there is a serious issue at her school. Zero actitives for students-levels behind.

I currently go to Palmyra as a 6th grade GATE student I'll be leaving next week I just want to say bye to me school and tell the teachers they were very nice and caring. But the Principal was not as much... The principal needs to improve herself!!!!

I currently go to Palmyra Elementary as a 6th grade GATE student. She is probably the best math teacher there is for the grade! Ms. Smith is a very nice, concern, and direct principal. However, every single student tried to stay away from most of the recess/lunch supervisors (other than two). There are two (no names given out) that are very mean, don't EVER listen to the student's reasoning and answers, and prohibit anything that's anything brought out from the classroom. Just yesterday, I got in trouble for bringing my winter gloves out in the field! We need to do something about them... The teachers are AMAZING. All of them are respectful and always treat each student as if they were their counselors! The new janitor is doing great so far, although i really miss the old one, as well! Last, the campus quality is a significant issue, as it has been since I arrived in 2nd grade. The students are VERY careless about littering, and don't bother cleaning up "after themselves" in the restroom. This gives the custodian much more work... which.... never really gets finished. I hope that this review will be read and thought about as we may be able to improve the school.
