My daughter has Autism and this school has been amazing with her! I love Principal Glawe and all of the supports that she has! Cannot recommend this school enough!

Welcoming, safe, organized, genuinely caring and diverse. Beginning kindergarten in the fall and have been extremely satisfied to date.

An outstanding school. Well run, diverse compared to other nearby schools, very safe, with good teachers and caring staff. An active parent group, with about PTA 250 members supporting 600 kids. We were welcomed to the community and continue to thrive here. School feeds excellent athletics opportunities, top flight middle school - Rosa Parks. Lots of strengths.

The school seems really attentive to students with special needs, but doesn't seem to push the smarter students to grow beyond state curriculum. I think the playground is too close to the main road and it would be safer to put up a better division to keep the children safe.

My kid has mild learning & physical disabilities and Olney ES has not only accommodated him but also allowed him to excel in a few areas he does well. Twice a year, the student counseler, with her team meets with us and we come up with a go forward plan for the next 6 months. Students are challenged with take home problems although I wish the homework was a little more. I hope the school gets BAR-T (aftercare program) soon.
