Coming up on almost a year at capstone Academy and preschool. I decided to leave review now that my girls have been there for almost a year. My overall experience has been immensely pleasing. I feel that all of the capstone’s staff truly cares about every student and takes time to learn what’s best for them and customizes their learning experience. Capstone in addition has great leadership, Mr. D and Mrs Zandra often create activities to establish community gatherings. For example, not too long ago the new mayor of Ocala visited capstone academy and shook my daughter’ s hand an experience my daughter would not have been able to have if it wasn’t for capstone. I also want to give a special thanks to my daughter’s teacher, Miss Della in almost a year, my daughter has educationally improved by leaps and bounds. She takes time not only make sure my daughter is understanding the lesson, but also retaining the information ,this is huge plus in my book. She is truly an amazing teacher! I noticed on a weekly basis my daughter is learning something new and I am very happy to see that. In addition to that, I will also like to thank Miss Jeanny and Miss Martha my two-year-old wakes up every morning excited to go to school and learn from you. Thank you all at capstone you are truly appreciated in what you do.

Our grandson started going to Capstone when he was 2. He has learned so much from being at Capstone. The teachers are wonderful, academically it is by far one of the better schools.He loves everyone there, and each year he looks forward to returning. The staff is amazing, and I want to thank you so much...a special thanks to Mr. D, Ms. Zandra, Ms. Rothwell, Ms. Hana and Ms. Denise.Capstone Academy is a blessing for us and our grandson, they are our second family. We love them. I highly recommend Capstone for your child/children.Thank you, Capstone, for all you have done for us and our grandson.God Bless.

First of all, I really appreciate what all the teachers and admin team have done for my son and my family in the past 1 year.. Children are the future of the country and the first days of school to get used to books is an extremely important foundation of knowledge and study habits. Therefore, Capstone Academy and Preschool is worthy and reliable for parents to choose to send their children. It is fortunate that my son has a teacher who is dedicated and enthusiastic with a noble profession like Ms Joy. My son is not good at English. After 1 year, he is led by Ms Joy which he can read little stories every night before going to sleep. I have seen my baby change a lot. He has become much more confident and comfortable. From the bottom of my heart I am truly grateful for this. In my country there is a proverb "No teacher, you can’t do it". This saying means that a teacher is someone who enlightens dear students to the right path and to the shores of human knowledge. For me, Ms. Joy is an extremely wonderful and warm teacher. Finally, I wish Ms Joy and all the teachers at Capstone have good health to continue their career of leading and illuminating the path for the sprouts for dear child of the country. Best regards

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Ms. Della. She is kind, considerate, honest, and open. My daughter, Emma has learned so much from the short time we’ve been with Capstone. Ms. Della has taken her under her wing and has given her individual attention to help her transition and catch up academically to the students in her class. She has shared tips and tricks with us to help Emma process new information and get it to stick. Ms. Della doesn’t only focus on the academics, but on the whole child. Encouraging her to make new friends, explore her environment in new and safe ways, and sharing her love of the Lord are just a few of the takeaways I see daily coming home. Ms. Della’s approach has created an avid learner in my daughter. She thirsts for knowledge. She’s excited to go to school every day. Sunday nights are no longer a struggle. Mondays are now “can’t wait to see Ms Della and my friends days”! I wish Ms Della was moving up into the next grade level with Emma in the Fall cause we don’t want to lose her. Thank you Capstone for investing in your teachers and staff. They are a pleasure to work with. Ms Daisha and Ms Daniela brighten up every morning. Miss Fiona and her mom take time to say hello and goodbye at every opportunity. Very friendly staff. As a former teacher myself, I can tell the administrators care about the staff and students. A+ from me!!

I only have great things to say about Capstone Academy! Our one year old son has been there for 4 months and I can really tell he enjoys learning and interacting with the other kids. The amount he has learned in regards to colors, shapes, animals, and numbers is amazing. I highly recommend going here.

My great grandaughter Kylie attends Capstone, and I think they are doing a great job, she has learned so much, and the faculty is just great, I had the pleasure of meeting most of the faculty at the Christmas party. Great job, and Kylie just loves her school and teacher.

As a Great Grandparent I wish my children had had an opportunity such as this. The Staff is Great with the children and I believe that makes a big difference in how children learn.

My experience at this school has been great. My daughter has been attending Capstone for three years and she loves it. She loves her teachers and all the friends she has made. I am always amazed by the things she has learned in school.

My experience at this school has been amazing. My son started vpk here this past August. He went in a very stubborn child. Refusing to learn at home with me. He is in Mrs. Miriam and Mrs. Lauries class d. They are hands down the best teachers. He has excelled so much in his academics and is so happy being apart of his class. Making new friends and learning has been the best. He is always excited to go. He comes home and tells me about his day and always talks about his teachers. He even wants them to come to his birthday party. The directors,staff and teachers are amazing. They treat each child and family like family. I love hus school and all who work there. I had visited many schools before placing him in capstone. It is further from my house then I would like but after touring the school and reading the reviews it was a no brainer. I knew Capstone was best for my son. Not only do they make learning fun but they provide structure as well. Just what we needed for our son to succeed and he is! Thankyou Capstone, you all are truely a blessing.

My son has never been to daycare before since I'm a stay at home mom. I was hesitant about how he would do at vpk, since he is so shy. Capstone has been such a wonderful experience!!!! My son says his best friends are his two teachers he tells everyone about them. He comes home and wants to do more work!!! I'm so grateful for capstone and I can't wait for my daughter to start next year.

2. I am really disappointed, my children have been going there for nearly 4 years now. We have had some minor issues here and there, but this last time was it for me. When I pulled my children out of daycare for the summer I was TOLD by front desk staff (they stated they confirmed with the director) that they would hold my youngest daughters spot until the beginning of the school year. About a month later I received a phone call from them saying she needed to start that following week or we wouldn't have a spot due to them being full and they were missing out on money. If you do anything with them GET IT IN WRITTING as they WILL go back on their word!!!Some reasons we are changing is the price for each child goes up about every 4 months, the teachers are always coming and going, there are a handful that have stayed. The teachers that are usually in there are young and don't seem like they pay much attention to the kids. The before and after school kids were suppose to get help with completing their homework, most of the time her homework was not done and when it was done it was always INCORRECT. My daughters hands and face were always dirty. Once my youngest was potty trained they didn't even pay attention to her in the bathroom, meaning she came home with a rash constantly from not wiping good enough. She is only 3 and of course she can't wipe herself as good as an older child. I don't feel the classrooms are very clean, I always see stuff on the floors even first thing in the morning and whenever I've taken my daughter to the restroom it has been dirty. I find this daycare to be EXTREMELY expensive for what they do for the children and how much they pay attention to them. I am just very disappointed in how I was treated by the director/owner! Oh I also gave my 2 weeks notice and in their handbook you are suppose to get your deposit back, well they told me due to them giving up 2 spots for my daughter that we wouldn't get our deposit back!!

I LOVE CAPSTONE! We were new to the City of Ocala and needed to find the proper childcare for our 2year old. Thank god we found Capstone! We love that they pray in the mornings, brushed teeth after meals, and are very involved with the parents. Trust me if something is changing , a notice will be given you. We can not mention enough our daughter teacher Ms.Denise and her genuine love towards the kids. As well as, the other teachers. Like Tony the Tiger says " They are great! " Ms. Denise welcomed our daughter with open arms and got her to potty train within weeks of starting the school.The location works great. The girls in the front are beyond helpful. Zondra and Mr. D take pride in their academy and strive to make it better on a daily basis. Go check them out!

This is the best preschool in Ocala! The staff are amazing! It is clean and the children are taught how to pray and bible stories are read daily! Anyone looking for preschool should visit this Capstone before making a decision.

Capstone is by far a 5 star school!! As a mother with 3 children, finding a safe and reliable place was key! Both of my daughter's attended Capstone's VPK program and walked away with an "I Can Do it attitude" and test scores to prove it. They're teachers, staff and administrators are amazing!!
