We love Meadowbrook! Our kids have made great friends here, and the teachers and administration are amazing!

What I love the most about Meadowbrook is the spirituality that impacts our children. I love how they start meetings, activities, all…with a prayer. Christ is the center of the entire campus. The administration is welcoming, calm, patient; very Christ like attitudes. It brings me peace as a parent. The campus is always clean, up to date, and full of activities for the entire family throughout the year. I could have not made a better choice. God drove our lives to Meadowbrook. The staff has walked with our children through it all. It is truly a great school!!

It is a great privilege and honor for my children to be a part of Meadowbrook Academy for the past 11 years. I have children in Elementary, Middle, and High school. ALL teachers, office staff, athletic director, and principal truly care about the academic success, physical health/well-being, spiritual growth, and character development of my children. Mrs. Stelogeannis leads by example. She wears her heart on her sleeve and labors in love. The saying, "it takes a village to raise a child," is true. I'm blessed to consider Meadowbrook Academy as part of my village.

I am a grandma of a student at this school. We worked very hard to have my grandson in a nurturing and God-filled environment. Much love to the admin as well.

MBA is the best school I’ve ever encountered. Admin and the staff/teachers are amazing and care so much for the kids. The atmosphere is so full of peace and love. The principal is absolutely wonderful and she is a huge reason why this school is so successful. I drop my child off knowing that the he will be given the best guidance and education. We are so grateful to be blessed with MBA, Mrs. S, Mrs.B and Mr. G.

We are grateful to have our child be a part of such a great school. The school is not overpopulated. The teachers can really focus their attention on each individual student’s needs. The principal is beyond amazing and the school is an example of her dedication and love. We could not be happier to be a part of such a great school!

I Love Meadowbrook Academy School and wouldn’t want my children to go to any other school. The welcoming and supportive and loving spirit of the principal and some of the teachers. I love the teachings and the values of what’s being taught. My youngest daughter is opening up and talking more often. My oldest is flourishing with the support and encouragement and help to better her understanding with school.

This is my son's second year at MBA - he was previously in public school and was bullied and started mirroring negative behaviors. He enjoyed going to school and learning more about God. He was happy with the music and sports options offered at MBA. Every day he comes home happy and positive (even with plenty of homework). He has found peace and acceptance at this school.

This school is horrendous. Completely lied about their curriculum and standard of learning when touring the school. They claim to be so advanced in Science, but they do not believe in evolution, and the other kids tease and bully the students who do. The projects that my son was doing in Gifted 3rd grade in Dr NH Jones were harder than the work given in Meadowbrook 7th Grade. Please double check the curriculum of this school. I guarantee you that the top colleges and universities will not accept an ‘A’ from this school. Their ‘A’ is an F in any other school. If you want your child to succeed and to not be bullied. Do not send them here!

Meadowbrook Academy tries to promote itself as some nice small Christian school on the outside. It is like an anglerfish, luring in with its pretty light, only to reveal the ugly beast. Inside is a world of bullying (amongst staff, and also amongst students), a near dictatorship like principle (as many others have pointed out), and from personal experience, religious bullying, trying to keep the students indoctrinated religiously. This religious indoctrination has especially harmed the quality of the science program, making it jokingly bad. This school also cannot seem to keep its students or its teachers, teachers that leave in mass exodus. Many ex teachers also see the evil that is this school. The teachers are given strict restrictions, and are abused by the higher ups of the school, and also have to deal with the students who can be VERY entitled and mean. This is not to say that the teachers are all good by any means. From my experience (though some of the teachers that were there only 3 years ago when I attended are gone), the teachers were also either religiously fanatical, entitled, annoying, or downright rude and hateful towards the students. Christianity ultimately is supposed to be peaceful, loving, and caring, like how Jesus was. This school is the opposite. Unless creationism, strict religion, and an atmosphere of bullying is your desire, DO NOT ATTEND THIS SCHOOL. It is a shame that Meadowbrook Church allows this school to still operate the way it does under their name, but I guess its not surprising considering the church itself has its own plethora of critiques that can be made against it.

It is our 3rd year attending Meadowbrook Academy & we have always felt that there is something special about being enrolled here. When an unexpected family situation occurred, we had the opportunity to have a 1st hand look at what/who makes MBA special. Principal Stelloganis displays grace, strength, & compassion that surpasses our expectations. Thank you for your devoted attention & your time put forth to the families that attend MBA. Your dedication is what gives MBA it’s uniqueness.

Discrimination, harassment and bullying is what you will encounter from the staff and administration. Administration has a dictatorship rule, voice your legitimate concerns and you are blacklisted. Not what you expect from any school, let alone a Christian school.

We love this school! It is small, which allows for a family type feel. The teachers are wonderful and genuinely care about their students. My son is graduating from there and was accepted into UF, Stetson and the University of Tampa. If the students are willing to work, the opportunity is there. He was well prepared by having all his required coursework completed and had 100 hours of community service work. They have Honors classes and dual enrollment. The principle works tirelessly for the students and will help them any way that she can. She amazes me all the time!

The teachers are Christians so they uphold the Christian environment . Academics are outstanding and if you need help there is a remedial program and teacher to help you. The principal is caring and kind while at the same time upholding policy and constantly maintaining a Christian environment ! You will love this school!

I never had to study for a single test. The science system was extremely poor. Teachers could not discipline the students. The P.E. coach was a terrible role model. He wold walk in a drink a soda while teaching health class. 10/18 students got participant for the president's challenge in fifth grade. Christian character in students is terrible. I was bullied the whole time I was there. The students have no academic drive. I went to public school, and it was 100% more challenging than the curriculum there. I joined the school in the last month of fourth grade, and the teacher stood me up in front of the whole class and told them how I was the best student that she had ever had in that school. She wuit two years later. The students are spoiled rotten. I was at the top of my class, and the only academic award I ever won was a P.E. award because the class voted. Gossip is a huge problem. Students have to constantly worry if they will be the next target. The first grade teacher would bully my little brother, the sweetest thing on earth, if he asked for help. The good teachers are steadily leaving. The church is great though!

My child has gone to MBA since kindergarten and is now in middle school there. The school is challenging and for the most part helpful if the child has an issue with the material. The only negative I can say about MBA is the school is very one sided. You and your child are either in or out. When it comes to sports and academics awards, the children of teachers and staff ALWAYS win the awards. You can sit in the audience and guess the students name before it is announced. The VP's son is a student in middle school and is never disciplined. He runs wild and tells the other students he knows he won't get in trouble. The office staff is friendly and helpful with the exception of one lady, who seems to go out of her way to be as rude as possible to parents. If you can overlook the cliques among the parents and spoiled children, they do receive a good education and it is a lot less than the other private schools in Ocala.

From a student, this is the worst school I have ever been to.Before I went to school here my brother would always complain about how awful it was. Me thinking he was being dramatic, I went the next year with him. Now coming from the public school system, the school is not challenging at all. I never had to study for anything. Thinking this might be a good thing, it's not. After 1 semester I left, and let me tell you public school is 100% harder. You would be doing your child a favor not to send them here. Also the principal is very controlling and judgmental. It is a rule that you or your parents could not be homosexual, and must be Christian. So if my parents were Muslim, and I was Christian, I could not attend. One time,I asked the librarian if they had Harry Potter and I was told I am not allowed to read that book because of witchcraft. Just please, if you love your child trust them enough to go to public school or send them elsewhere. Out of the 6 schools I've gone too, it is the WORST school.
