Bullying is out of control. Does not keep students safe, the zero tolerance policy is a joke. Does not offer many advanced classes. I wouldn’t send my dog here on a free ride. Run far as you can drone OTHS.

We moved from Texas where all 3 of my kids had ap classes, ofallon high school didn't even offer ap classes, thank God we came to our senses and moved back to Texas but the year in ofallon really set them back. Now thankfully since we are back in Texas they will all have a high school diploma and at the same recieve a associate's degree thanks to the high school program at their high school here in Texas. Never knew how good we had it here in Texas till we moved to ofallon.

The school operates at a high academic level. Most of the teachers care about their students' education. However, the superintendent's office is severely lacking in leadership.

Our son has truly enjoyed his experience at OTHS. From the very first day as a freshman he has felt welcome and challenged. He was part of the very successful band program that OTHS is known for. He took many honors classes that provided him with the knowledge required to excel at the ACT. He feels excited about learning and felt very prepared as he went through the college application process. OTHS is a great public school that far exceeded our expectations.

My daughter really enjoyed this school, but we moved to DC in the middle of her senior years, and she really misses her friends and teachers from O'Fallon. The school she attended in DC is rated as #47 in the Newsweek best high schools in the nation, and yet, it has nothing on the O'Fallon High School. We thought this school was good, but after leaving, we realized it is actually a great one. The academics are as tough as anywhere, the sports programs are very engaging, and the arts programs are just about the best I've ever seen, and I don't mean just for high school...the teachers and the kids are simply fantastic. One aspect that really impressed us was the setup they have with their student counselors. The counselors are very engaged with the parents, and have great people skills. Beware of teachers forcing kids into the advanced classes program. With the hectic schedule (between academics, sports, choir, theater) mine had, I wanted my daughter to pace herself, only to find a lot of resistance from two particular teachers. BTW, she will graduate with honors, and has received several academic and talent scholarship offers.

Great place. Parking isnt good. Lots of food options. Good basketball team ( lost to derrick rose.) Colorguard is the WGI world champs. Drumline was best in 4 states. Classes are entertaining. The teachers are the kind of people you would wanna have a coffee with. Frolics can be good some years. Halls wernt very crowed with the right timing. Yeah, I miss it.

I attended OTHS from 2005 to 2009 and the school is amazing. They offer a wide variety of classes and have a particularly strong science department. Socially, the school doesn't have the huge cliques that most do, attributed to being a military town. Academics is a number one priority, just looking at the level and number of honors courses they have. Their honors chemistry department can be used for duel credit with St. Louis University. The AFJROTC unit is also amazing, encouraging students to do community service, peer tutoring, academic success, and its own variety of extracurriculars outside of the ones the school already offers. There were several teachers there that I love and till talk to today.

I currently attend OTHS and i love it! As a member of the class of 2013, we were the "guinea pig" class, we were the 1st to enter the Milburn Campus and the 1st class to get summer reading projects from freshman to junior years. Milburn was a success, in my opinion, because it prepared the freshman for their high school careers and gave them unique experiences like Challenge Day (amazing experience). There are many course options and many honors classes to take for the more advanced or hard working student and the teachers are awesome and display their personalities making class more fun. There are many clubs, sports, and activities to participate in. Our IMCs are also amazing, there are tons of books to choose from, friendly librarians, comfy chairs, private sound proof rooms, a student lounge, and tons of computers and flip cams for checking out. Unfortunately, sometimes the Smiley Campus smells weird...and all fees are inflated currently because of debts. For example, parking passes are now $50 a semester instead of $50 for the entire year. Overall, attending OTHS is a good experience, we have great incentives for grades and daily, our school broadcast is looked forward to.
