There's like mold developing here and the teachers never really did anything about bullies.

Marie Schaefer Elementary School is hands down the best school I have come into contact with. We moved to the area 4 years ago and have had 2 children go through Schaefer. The teachers are excellent and the principal is awesome. You can tell that everyone at the school really enjoys what they do and they do it very well. The curriculum has been great and I feel like my children have received an excellent education.

We moved into this district a couple years ago, largely because we were sold on the schools being amazing. Quite frankly, our child has seen a drop in his performance since we got here. A once excited and happy child, he is feeling overwhelmed. He brings home tons of homework, but there are rarely any instructions on what needs to be done. Just random stuff. Anytime we try to address the problem, the teacher sends snarky responses. We've tried talking to the principal Ms. Duggins. She basically just disregards our concerns. I know everyone has a different experience, but we will be relocating out of district. I have other children and will not have them subjected to this poor quality learning environment.

Our kid has greatly improved in just the first couple months. We were in a private school last year and they basically taught her nothing. If Im going to pay good money for preschool I want a school not a daycare. Student teacher ratios are not bad and they still have an aid in most classes. The staff tries to impliment a total teacher parent team concept. Most of the teachers here have or are working towards MASTERS Degrees! Ive never seen that before, very impressive.

We love our school!!! The staff is amazing, and very personable!!! They know our younger children names who do not attend. My son is in kindergarden and his teacher is very good at making one on time with our son if he is struggling in any areas. I do believe that there are too many students, and hat would be he only reason I would attend a different school. Other than that love everything about it!!! Proud parent!

My son has attended this school since preschool and I have nothing but great things to say about the school and the staff. My son receives special services in a regular classroom and has made tremendous strides in all areas because of the staff and the curriculum here. Everyone I have encountered truly cares about the children and they are not afraid to think outside of the box. The principal is very visible to students and parents and knows the kids by name. I couldn't have asked for anything more for my son.
