This School saved our daughter's life! It is the most exceptional place you can imagine for a child with special needs. We have 5 children and 4 are typical and attend typical schools. Our daughter with needs started out in a public school which was supposedly known for it's "resources". With kids like her, however, no public or private school can accomplish what Northshore Academy Elementary has accomplished with our daughter.

There aren t enough words to express the amount of gratitude I have for this school and their staff. After a largely disappointing experience in no less than five schools between both my boys, we finally found a school that is a diamond in the ruff. The staff there does genuinely care for your child. They make each child feel successful and give them a sense of worth. The communication between school and home is tremendous. I don t cringe anymore when my cell phone rings during the day. If your child is struggling emotionally or behaviorally in a normal school environment, North Shore Academy Elementary is the place for them

I have nothing but praise to sing about this school. The caliber of staff is remarkable. Each staff member works at NSA-E because of their passion for children. The patience, collaboration, and professional intelligence is what makes this school unique and wonderful. The staff has a team approach with each other, the students and the parents. Each student is valued. The staff is dedicated to giving their students the tools that they need to succeed (behaviorally, academically, socially and emotionally!)!

North Shore Academy Elementary provides a caring therapeutic learning environment for students who have struggled in their general education settings. The staff are dedicated professionals who work tirelessly to meet the unique needs of the students that they serve. Students with a history of failures in previous settings develop a sense of accomplishment at North Shore Academy Elementary.

North Shore Academy Elementary has been a lifesvaer for our family. Our 10 year old son has attended since the third grade with numerous ups and downs related to his issues and medication regulation. The faculty and staff have stayed the course with him, have included our family in his plan and also worked well with the outside practitioners caring for him. This is a comprehensive, caring, creative and "Cool" place. Your child will be loved and cared for, and so will you.

North Shore Academy-Elementary is a therapeutic day school that provides students with a safe, nurturing environment to help them manage and hopefully overcome their challenges. For many students, school is a really hard place where they often don't feel connected or competent. NSAE offers students a learning environment that embraces their struggles and strives to provide students, and families, with skills to manage school and home more successfully.

I have had the opportunity to work with NSAE as a temporary employee twice in the last five years. My experiences with NSAE have been overwhelmingly positive and I consider myself lucky to have had the chance to work with such dedicated staff. Not only does the staff truly care about the welfare of each of their students, but they regularly go above and beyond what is expected to provide the best care and education possible. The thing I consider to be NSAE's greatest asset is its culture of flexibility - the words "No" or "We can't" are rarely heard in this school when deciding on specific plans for students.

NSAE has a wonderful staff of talented, open minded people who make team collaboration a high priority. Communication with parents is stressed as one of the school's goals is to ensure that support is provided for the family as a whole. Academic progress is monitored on a weekly basis is highly individualized. Staff are also well trained in crisis prevention techniques, with a focus on de-escalation skills. Leadership is flexible in terms of altering plans, trying new ideas and collaborating with parents and home districts.

North Shore Academy-Elementary is a wonderful community that focuses on the individual needs of its students. There is an emphasis on teamwork to create and implement each student's academic/social/behavioral plan(s). The school celebrates student accomplishments and works with them to help them feel successful despite any challenges that may arise. It is a wonderful place to work, and an inviting, nurturing community for learners of all ages.
