I’ve had nothing but great experiences with this school and the staff. The principle and teachers seem to really like their job and the effort they put in is reflected in the growth and well being of the children as a result.

I love Highland! I have to say that Mrs. Fallon is by far the most awesome teacher ever! She's so structured and at the same time nurturing..So sad we have to leave her this year :(

I LOVE how involved the parents and PTA are! There were some problems I had with Principal Adams but since we have a new one this year I hope that it becomes better managed. He was great with standards but resolving conflicts wasn't his forte. I am so greatful for the teachers and volunteers that have made it where my son, who is a handful, didn't get overlooked. I look forward to the 2013-2014 school year.

I'm proud to say my kids go to Highland Ele and from Norco. This is the perfect place to have small town living and have teachers involved with our students. The PTA is a wonderful resource to help our students and parents stay connected with Highland. Our principal put the students first and was always available to speak with. He'll be missed, but I'm sure our next principal will have the same value in his position with our school. Keeping Highland safe and small town relationship with our parents, students, and faculty.

Bullying is at its highest level. School administration is simply hopeless. When I approached and complained to the principal about bullying and the suffering of my son in his school, his response was completely irresponsible. Class teachers do not want to resolve bullying problem. One of the teacher said to my son that "there is nothing he can do. Its your problem". Even teacher isolate some innocent kids and make target of their jokes. And encourages more bullying. IF YOUR KID'S EDUCATION IS NOT A SERIOUS ISSUE, DON'T ENROLL THEM IN THIS SCHOOL.

I figured this school would be good for my son who makes good grades and doesn't have issues with getting a long with other kids, but there have been these kids who have been bullying him for a few months now and it seems no amount of phone calls to the teacher or to principle Adams has changed this. It's ashame really that this goes on and no one does anything about it. After all of this and having my son come home stressed out everyday I think it's time to move him to a new school. I hope others have better luck.
