Let me start off at the top with Principal Vasquez. He is very approachable and always involved in all the school activities. The Vice Principal on the other hand, is another story. She is the opposite to Principal Vasquez. Her social skills are severely lacking unfortunately. Mrs. Correa-Fudge is greatly missed as a Vice Principal. Having said that, my child has been attending this school the last 7 years. Most of the teachers are very caring and accessible. Not a perfect school but as good as a public school as you can find. He loves being a Barton Bear.

My daughter loves this school and her teacher. The GATE program has helped her discover her love for learning. She has developed tremendously since getting involved in the program. Great school, great emphasis on character, all around happy to have my child attend this school.

One of the best schools my son has ever gone to. I thought it was a lot of work for the kids at the beginning but after getting in the routine of things it was amazing how my son learned and now that I moved to Temescal canyon my sons home school moved and now I appreciate his old school so much more and hate his new school working on transferring him out at this point. He is in Wilson and got in so much trouble over here for all sorts of stuff. I really don't want to get into it cause it really upsets me. But if u have a special Ed kid do not go to Wilson.

The principal at this school is nice, but my teacher is very uncaring. She yelled at me for reading a book before the rest of the class. I was also yelled at for not participating in the pledge, due to my beliefs. In my class, the teacher makes me feel like just another bug in the room. I have never had a teacher like this. Before coming to Clara Barton, I loved school. Now, I behave and do what I am told, but while I am here I am miserable.

The school's great rating rely's on the high SES status of its student population, but there is little to rave about in regards to the teaching at Barton. While many surrounding schools have embraced project based learning and have technology to help support students at different levels, Barton seems to be 20 years behind the times. My daughter's teacher seemed downright annoyed that I wanted to be involved in helping her improve and often would not answer my emails or respond to letters about how she was doing in class. The teacher didn't show up for scheduled meetings and often would say she would do one thing and it would never happen. While Barton's principal is very willing to work with parents, I don't believe there is much he can do about very poor teachers.

This is a great school with great teachers who strive to optimize their students' learning. The principal is great and inspire the students to always do their personal best.

The school does a good job. I wish they had a proper GATE program though.

I'm very disappointed in Clara Barton special needs class. Since day 1. I am not happy with the school, teachers, I have complained to clara barton school, special ed dept. I have alot to say! Other parents agree this is not the right school for special needs children (kinder) coming from the corona/norco school district " my daughter learned more in the rocket program". Almost end of the school year finally starting the process to put my daughter in another school... very frustrating, upsetting in this school.

"CALIFORNIA DISTINGUISHED SCHOOL" that says it all! I have a daughter that attended CLARA BARTON from Kinder to 6th grade and she has done very very well during her years here. She has gained the the academic knowledge necessary to carry over to middle school and beyond! She is currently an 8th grader at Ramirez Intermediate and has achieved High Honor Roll. I also have a 9 year old daughter whom is currently in 4th grade at Clara Barton and she as well has achieved High Honor Roll. Great School!

The school is pretty nice but it seems as though the adults are ready to yell and cite a student for the dumbest things. My son got yelled at for wetting his hair. He is a student with a 3.9 GPA and his teacher loves him. The lunch duty supervisors are too quick tempered. They are children people!

This year has been horrible! With the addition of 400 new students and hardly any additional hired adults, the education here is going to suffer. The teachers are great, but special needs children are coming to lower grades to learn without help. This is a disservice to the children in the class and the children who would benefit from extra help. The kid zone is filled with unruly children. I am very sad this year to be looking for another school so that I can just feel safe for my child. I had higher expectations for eastvale..... Disappointed eastvale mommy

I am so happy the my kids are apart of the Clara Barton family. Mrs. Tanny is the best Kindergarten teacher ever. You can tell that she loves teaching and really cares about the kids learning. The way she interacts with the kids is amazing. The parent involvement at Barton is outstanding. The office staff is fairly friendly but I think sometime when they overwhelmed they can be very short with you. I love Clara Barton.

I love the teachers and staff at this school. They are kind and helpful. My sons teacher is always so supportive and positive yet not a push-over.

I'm disappointed in Clara Barton for their impersonal and inefficient special needs program. After a great experience with the ROCKET program in the Corona-Norco School district, I'm disappointed with their K-12 education system and the way special needs students are educated and cared for by the school. Speech therapy in particular, is lacking in quality and level of attention.
