So happy we moved into this school Zone! The girls love it here, their teachers, the staff, the principal, have all been so very nice. Very pleased we moved, here I highly recommend the school

The principal in this school lacks professionalism in decision making and attire. There are so many new teachers every year. This is an indication that administration is the problem. It’s a “mean girls club” and she is the leader. Parents are not welcome in this school. No music programs or fine arts nights. They do fundraisers but no one knows where the money goes. I wish we would have moved to Mathews side of town.

Very dissatisfied with this school. Dealt with bullying issues, poor learning environment, no enrichment learning all centered around MAP preparation and achieving high scores.New teachers are not being properly trained. Huge disconnect compared to other schools in the district in allowing very little outside involvement like music concerts, Grandparents Day, field trips etc. Very poor communication and lack of transparency with parents. Principal doesn’t handle problems at all and expects the parent to resolve matters.

My son transferred to this school and required special accommodations. The teacher dismissed concerns and did not want to accommodate his needs. Teacher allowed for my son to feel left out during a team's activity. He was the only child without a partner which left him in tears and wanting to hurt himself because he felt unwanted. This should never be okay.

Most of the teachers are the “mean popular girls” we all remember from our school days. The principle is included in that group. They all talk about the kids and parents behind their backs anytime there’s an issue on their part. They act as if they do no wrong and are the very best in the world. A lot of us parents are right through it. Know if your child has any issues your child’s teacher will completely disregard it and act like you’re crazy and they are fine. We have been treated so rudely and it’s really sad they don’t encourage kindness. Also… someone should really check into where the money goes from the fundraisers they do. Let’s see that new playground the $26,000 was supposed to build.

The worst. Ms. Blevins chooses to ignore reports of bullying, rather than investigating the claims with non bias she uses teachers and staff to support her assessment of the situation, instead blaming the children who are being bullied. As for the teaching staff, the new teachers are severely lacking in communication skills and follow through. The office staff are rude and I professional.

I wish this school was better and the administration staff were friendly but it is not the case. The same character they are trying to teach our children they should learn to do the same.

This school and every teacher, faculty and staff member has been more than we could have ever dreamed for our kids. They care not only about their educcation, but also focus on character building. That is something For which I am FOREVER grateful.

BEST SCHOOL EVER!! All three of our children have gone through Century, and we've been so blessed because of it. The teachers are the best and--even better--have instilled a love of learning in each of our children that make them LOVE coming to school! It will be a sad day when our youngest grows out of this school. It will always be close to our hearts! Thank you, Century!!

Century is a wonderful school with the best staff you could ask for! The principle is awesome! She treats parents as partners and enjoys working with the children and their parents. She has an open door policy and works very hard to create a safe environment for the children to learn and grow. There is an awesome support system with all of the staff, other parents and the PTA does wonderful things for the school and parents. We would recommend this school to anyone! I have two children that attend school at Century and they both love the school and all of their teachers. We have never heard any negative comments about any member of the staff. As a matter of fact, they go out of their way to visit teachers when ever they are at the school. We chose to move to this area so that our children would be able to attend this school. My 5th grader had to start at a new school this year; but did not want to leave! The only downside is that the school is now only K - 3 ;-) so my daughter will only have four years there in stead of five.
