I pulled my son from this school and will move entirely before I ever have to send another child here. The principal was amazing as were most of the teachers but over the course of three years here I never, ever had good feelings about this school. In fact, 18 years ago before this building transitioned to an elementary I spent 4 years there myself from 4th/8th and loved every minute of it. Not anymore, not this day and age. I don't know what has happened, but schooling in this country needs SO MUCH HELP.

Amazing school! Teachers and staff love their jobs and care about each and every student. Academics expectations are high as are behavior expectations.

This school doesn't take bullying seriously. Bullies run rampant, barely supervised at recess. Free to name call, chase down, throw snow, dirt, and pebbles at, and generally terrorize the nicer, more sensitive, and/or special-needs kids. When the poor kid being bullied tells a staff member, they typically do nothing because they "didn't see it happen". When a parent gets involved the teacher will talk to the offending kid who gets away with the abhorrent behavior by simply claiming that they were "just playing a game". The kid who was bullied is told methods for dealing with being picked on; none of which work. Meanwhile, the bully continues to pick on kids because there are no consequences for his actions. Clearly they learned nothing from Columbine. I would not recommend this school to other parents.

The staff and administration is very caring and fosters an environment for success. I was surprised at the bullying comment, because I have found them to take this very seriously.

This school is amazing!! The teachers and staff are the most wonderful people I could have asked for in my childs education. Every staff member is warm and friendly and you get a wonderful smile every time you walk into the school from EVERY teacher every time. I am sad to be moving away from this school and I would recommend these fabulous, caring people to anyone who cares for their childs education!! They truly work with every child and no child is left behind. I love the people teaching in this school.
