Wow! The new leadership has managed to transform Lilja in to a model school for the 21st century.

My two sons currently attend Lilja and we have found the teachers, i.e., for the most part, to be inspired and inspiring. As with any school, if the parents are engaged, the school community is more spirited and educational needs and desires are addressed. At Lilja, the parents are engaged. A recent concern at Lilja is principal turnover. Since my sons have been at the school, the school has been led by three principals, f.y.i., one was a temporary appointment. The fourth principal will take the lead in the 2013/2014 school year. The frequent turnover of the school's top post has diminished the academic standing of Lilja. Parents will have to become more engaged to counterbalance the negative impact of principal turnover. At Lilja, I am certain that this can and will be done.

My sons goes to this school in kindergarten. We have been very pleased with this school. The teachers and the school councelors are very responsive to the student's need within reason. The principal is quite enthusiastic and most parents are quite involved. My son is enjoying his school and that to me, is the most important thing.

I am a parent of three girls. Two are currently at Lilja and the other is now at Wilson. We have a brand new principal that is EXCELLENT. The teachers really care about the students. I cried at just about every conference because I was so touch by how much the teachers care for my children.
