    After an amazing experience at Wellesley public schools for elementary school, I entered middle school optimistic and excited. However, I was incredibly disappointed to find that Wellesley Middle School did not at all live up to my expectations. Most teachers seemed disinterested in their work and in teaching students. Little effort was given to support students who had difficulty learning material. Administrators were harsh and unkind to students. Students experiencing discrimination or bullying received next to no help from the school. The unfortunate reality is that Wellesley Middle School is a three year hell, and many other students and parents I have spoken to agree.

    Expected the Wellesley schools to be great, and elementary school was pretty good. But middle school has been miserable. If your kid fits a certain profile, it might be a good place for them. But there are few options for those who don't fit the mold of a "typical" Wellesley kid.

    My daughter love WMS very much even she only started from grade 8.

    Moved to Wellesley in 2015. My daughter thrived in 8th grade. Awesome school with great teachers.

    This school is absolutely amazing!!!! They have so many options, clubs and places to be. You are never bored and you always feel included. The teachers and guidance counselors are wonderful and very smart. Students can even gain responsibility by helping out with plays or starting clubs, and they can gain confidence through everyday classes, and musicals and concerts. This is a great school!

    Everybody works together to create a strong environment that allows people to be themselves. I love being apart of the WMS school community!
