Great school with rules in place that teaches kids respect but also gives them opportunity to explain their perspective when they had done something wrong. Very caring and helpful teachers with great ideas how to positively motivate kids.

With a neural atypical child, we were very concerned when we started the IEP process. We had heard horror stories from friends and family members who have had to deal with their school districts so went in fearing the worst. To say we've been pleasantly surprised would be a huge understatement. By now we've worked with the majority of the support staff, including Principal Ophus and Vice Principal Durkan. Pretty much everyone we've worked with has gone above and beyond what we would have expected, including getting personal visits at our home from the principal to encourage our little learner when attending school was the last thing on their mind.Covid has added an entire new layer of nightmare, but the cooperation and assistance has continued in ways we would have never expected. This may seem like I'm a shill for the school, but I'm not. Anyone with a neuro atypical child will understand just how soul-crushing it can be on a day to day basis, and exactly how welcome it is when you feel the school has your back.Bullying? Dealt with. Problems with attendance? Helped us to get back on track. Homework issues? Worked with us. I can go on and on, but by now hopefully you get the picture. It's easy to go in, guns blazing when something goes wrong. But we've assumed the best and given the school time to address whatever issues have come up. By taking that approach, we've never been disappointed. Has their execution been flawless? Nope, but in every single case they've acknowledged our concerns and addressed them. I don't think you can ask for more in a school.

absolutely horrible. I would not move into the school district if I knew how bad things were going to be. with the high taxes and all of the staff I would have expected a much better outcome.

The teachers are wonderful and the PTA and parents are extremely involved. The gifted (accelerated) program is outstanding and the teacher is highly dedicated and effective.

A very good school for the past few years. I hope they can continue with the new principal.
