I graduated from BJAMS 9 years ago and am now a registered nurse in a large metropolitan area. Looking back I can say that I received a superior education and such a well rounded formation to prepare me for the trials as well as and adventures ahead. The teachers and staff care so much about the students and create a supportive environment that allowed me to grow and pursue what interested me. For example, we put on a surprisingly moving, teacher-directed production of Romeo and Juliet when I was in 8th grade, and that inspired me to pursue theatre in high school. The intimate class size was very beneficial and allowed the teachers to individualize my education. There were so many opportunities to explore my interests and diversify my education. It also began the formation of a strong moral backbone that kept me from a lot of the funny business in high school and college. I went back to visit recently and was so impressed! They have remained so steadfast and true to their mission, and are taking huge steps to better the school, such as putting in a brand new Mac lab! I loved my experience and would recommend the school to any family looking for a quality education for their child!

BJAMS is a blessing to my children and family. The faculty and staff are an incredibly caring and knowledgeable group -- and it is so evident in my interactions with all of them! The academic offering is just the challenge my children need and it's delivered in an atmosphere of respect and love. Thank you BJAMS!

I attended BJAMS for 7th grade and also had the privilege to teach there as a substitute teacher in 2010. It is a phenomenal school that really forms children to be contributing members of society. At basically any school, your kids will get a decent in math, science, art, etc... but at BJAMS the 'unwritten' curriculum is in morals, ethics, and character building. This is something that cannot be taught in any classroom. It happens on the playground, in the cafeteria, and in every encounter within the school walls. The students and teachers alike are truly exceptional individuals that your child will learn from every day. They will leave BJAMS a much better human being than when they entered it and the values and virtues they will now possess will be with them forever. Children are so formative at this age, put them in a place where their environment is uplifting and helps them be a better person daily. The dedicated staff and diverse student body will really give your child a chance to grow into the best version of themselves.

I have had 4 children attend this school. I would not send them anywhere else. Bishop Marshall is by far the best elementary education in the state.
