My grandson just completed 3 years at Liberty with nothing but great outcomes. Most teachers are considerate and believe in learning. The band director this year went above and beyond what was expected and proved to be a wonderful mentor. I feel my grandson is ready to face challenges of high school because Liberty prepared him well. Thanks Liberty. We are sure going to miss you.

My child is in her 3rd year at Liberty Middle School in a self contained classroom. I have found the teachers to be attentive, caring, and encouraging; always striving to provide my child with learning opportunities that she can succeed at and feel good about. She particularly enjoys music; and they always consider that in planning her schedule so that she is able to participate in Chorus. The Music Director is a true blessing. Everyone, from Principal, Assistant Principal, to Safety Officer, Bus Driver, etc. - all have been nothing but kind and caring toward both me and my child. We will truly miss this group next year.

I am a student at Liberty Middle School and I love it. I have always been pushed to excel at everything I do! The teachers are great and really care about our educations. The school has been rated the cleanest school in Burke County. There isn't major bullying problems in my opinion. I have had pleasant experiences all three years at Liberty. The only thing I would complain about is athletics take such a priority over everything else. Band, Chorus and Art take a back seat to athletics and do not get enough recognition. Other than that I love Liberty Middle School!

The school has great staff that strives to help their students. The only down fall with the school is that it has major bullying problems. The teachers and staff know how to stop the bullying but they can not make a strong connection with the students.

My biggest complaint with this school is a lack of communication & The failure of teachers to accept accountability/responsibilty.....not all of them, but some. My 2nd child is going on his 2nd year at LIberty & so far, not too bad....a much better experience than I had when my 1st son went there. Granted, the kids do need to be getting prepared to handle the responsibilty of being young adults, but it is not very reasonable to expect that every ounce of info (some VERY important!) will be remembered AND relayed correctly BY THE CHILD to the parents at the end of the day. I am rating a "4", since overall, there are no huge issues, beyond the communcation gap. So far, my kids have done well there acedemically & they seem to enjoy attending school there.
