Overall, we are very pleased with our decision to move from a private school to BFES. The great teachers, low class size, strong emphasis on academics, opportunity to receive accelerated instruction in math and reading from first grade, opportunity to receive 1 day/week of TAG instruction, safe learning environment, and very involved parents/strong PTO have made our elementary school experience memorable so far.

I plan to look into a different School. The faculty here are more concerned with cash-grab tactics than student well being.

This school is not what I had hoped or expected. The focus seems to be high test scores and bringing in money. My children are extremely stressed out and anxious after transferring to BFES, and they do not struggle with learning. The pressure put on them is a bit ridiculous for children of this age. As far as teachers go, they seem friendly enough but there is a lack of warmness and actually getting to know the children. FUNdraisers here are a joke. The biggest fundraiser is simply bugging your friends and family for money for the PTO. I understand the school needs to make money to make up for what the county doesn't provide but this is not the way to do it. We came from a much smaller school, that did family oriented, simple events and they made three times as much money over the course of the year because the kids and parents had fun. A stuffy, pretentious polo match, a fun run on Halloween, fifty dollars per chance to participate in Pumpkin Chuckin, and an outdated father daughter dance hardly appeal to the masses. Do a raffle, award incentives, silent auctions, games, etc. Try being a bit more fun and inclusive. In hindsight, I wish I had looked closer at other schools and areas before purchasing a home here.

We have 5 children. We have tried private school with the eldest and different elementary schools with the next three. BFES is a public school that can rival any private school. It is amazing - the staff, teachers and the large parent involvement make it the ideal learning environment.

The faculty and administration at BFES are top notch! But the parents in this community are crazy unlike any kind of crazy I have ever come across. If you are looking to move to an area full of snobby, entitled elitists, then look no further! We have too many bored housewives who enjoy instigating drama and making unreasonable demands, and then pout and throw fits if their demands aren't immediately met. The beautiful scenery Isn't worth it - keep looking.

We love BFES! Principal Bottoms, her administrative team and staff are incredible. Honestly, I was nervous about my son starting school and if he wold fall behind because he is shy and rarely speaks up, but what they have done with him in his confidence, with the #BeKind initiative and what he used to dread, reading, is now one of his favorite things. I cannot say enough great things about this school. The staff are super engaged and involved and so are the parents. The scores do not do it justice! It feels like a small town school with big time results. Thank you BFES and the Milton Community!

Terrific teachers and a caring administrative staff have made this a great school for our two kids. There is a real sense of community. Having moved from a top school district in NJ, we had high expectations of our school and BFES has met or exceeded those expectations.

We moved here a couple years ago and find this school to be fabulous! Great environment for elementary kids. The faculty is really working hard to make the school the best it can be. Lots of great programs involving the kids in the community. Great parent support and lots of ways to get involved as a parent. Welcoming environment for all.

Amazing teachers and administration that show kindness and care for each child's needs. Our children have felt academically challenged and appropriately supported. Faculty are cheerful with a sincerely love for their students and their jobs.

We are very happy in our first year at BFES! We have found the teachers and administration very willing and open to work with us when our son needed behavior testing. We are excited for our second child to start there next year!

Birmingham Falls is a fantastic school with an exceptional teaching and administrative staff. We have two children at the school and continue to be impressed by the active community within the school as well as the professional, yet encouraging leadership provided by Principal Bottoms. We have just finished our first year at Bfes and feel so lucky to be there. It's been such a great year. My kids and I are ready for summer but also excited to see what next year will hold.

We love this school!!!! I now have three children attending Birmingham Falls. I have one child in fifth, in second and in kindergarten. We couldn't be happier. There is amazing communication between the staff and parents and everyone is always willing to help. They have a wonderful and friendly front office staff, as well as a principle that goes above and beyond to make the school have a great learning environment.
