BEWARE!!!! Child safety is not the #1 priority at this school. I called the school hours prior to dismissal to inform the front office that my child would be parent pick up only for my child to end up on the bus. Contacted the principal Samantha Wade after reaching out to the front office again only for them to avoid accountability, deny the fact that no one was told (besides my efforts), apologize and excuse the fact that Jodi Poh “forgot” to tell my child’s teacher in an attempt to smooth things over as if children’s safety is not a priority and they can just forget to inform the teacher of transportation changes.

The Crenshaw Elementary community is very strong and everyone; administration, teachers, support staff, community partners, and parents really put everything into giving students the best opportunities for success. There really is a family vibe you feel at Crenshaw which we found lacking when attending a higher ranked school. I don't put much weight on these arbitrary "ratings." Our experience has been above par.

Overall I love Crenshaw. The administration, faculty and staff are very caring. They want to see their students succeed. We had some difficulty this year with an inexperienced teacher. It's been frustrating. However, I've been very pleased with the overall experience. I'm thankful my children are in a school with staff that is seeking excellence. I'm very surprised it doesn't rank higher.

I love Crenshaw Elementary. We moved here 3 years ago and I used this website to pick schools for my children. I have not been disappointed. The teachers and staff have always worked hard to give the children a great educational experience. All four of my children love this school!
