Learning/Teaching: The students couldn't care whether they fail, as they constantly harass excellent teachers. Some kids either walk out, interrupt, mock, or bully behind the teacher's back, in school. The subjects are either terribly easy (I'm in multiple honors classes) or beyond another universe and most teachers don't care either way. Some of the teachers would intentionally bully and target some students (for example a teacher told my friend to take their pills in front of everyone). Although the only thing making me not put that it isn't a disaster is on rare occasions some of the teachers would be absolutely amazing and passionate about their work. Although it's an eat-or-be-eaten kind of school, if there is a good teacher they would get bullied by the kids but the same would happen to some of the kids.Special Education: It is terrible how they don't know how they are treating the special-educated students. They would parade them around trying to share inclusivity but the terrible kids would notice. Some kids would witness the special-ed students and bully them without them even noticing. I have ADHD, and as I was walking to the bus I was too focused on my walking and started walking a bit weirdly. One child came up to me and started copying how I was walking while laughing at his friend.Safety: In the first 5 months of my joining I have witnessed 2-3 kids bringing weapons into school. I feel like that's enough I need to say about that oneFamily Engagement: I haven't seen not even one assignment in my 2nd grade here in which my family has been involved.Social-Emotional Support: The Jr counselors are absolutely fine it is the high school counselors that need help. None of which I've known actually cares or helps any students.

This is a new school, and it has a long way to go. When I first started off in this school I very quickly saw how a lot of the students' mental health and personal well beings were not supported by this school at all, and while I do understand this is a public school its still shouldn't be ignored. Some of the teachers here make school bearable but the others just want to keep their jobs and get on with it, this school has two counselors who aren't very good at their jobs and somehow manage not to fix any problems for students. Me and my friends have been bullied and harassed on many occasions and like most schools there is a lot of drug use and smoking in the bathrooms. But then again its not like coming to the staff will help in any type of way. The classrooms are constantly being interrupted by students who are disrespectful to teachers and other students as well, there's not a lot of discipline here at all so I would not recommend this school but if you absolutely have to go here then I wish you luck.
