My son was at canyon rim for prek and kindergarten and I didn’t realize until after we moved schools (moved to Augusta ranch since it’s closer to our home) how amazing and above and beyond canyon rim is! The principal is always out front greeting kids and parents, and my son loved him. The school is extremely safe with all of their security measures and locked key pads to enter the gym (other schools don’t use them) the teachers were all so kind and engaged and really helped my child in such a short time. They do student of the month, newsletters, and a lot of events for the kids/families. After one year everyone knew my son’s name and that made him feel so special. Also their school drop off and pick up is so much more organized than other schools in the area.

I have two kids who have attended this school since Kindergarten. All of the teachers they've had have been amazing! The teachers and office staff at Canyon Rim have always been kind and welcoming. My kids come home from school excited about their day and what they've learned. They've made several friends in the neighborhood and love attending Canyon Rim. The school also hosts fun family events like Teach or Treat and the Cougarnival which we love to attend too! We are looking forward to another great year next year!

Their spice program is one of the best that I have seen. Mr. Jeremy Crawford, Nicole Delbianco, and the rest of the team are AMAZING! I don't have anxiety or fear about leaving my nonverbal child in their care. They follow through with what to help the students with and not what is convenient to the adults. I would completely recommend their classroom!

The office staff is very unkind and rude! They aren’t helpful with IEP students and don’t try to help!

A very high rating. My son has severe asthma and misses days when he's not well. He can easily catch up on his assignments and score high grades on his exams. He has attended this school since kindergarten and is now in the 6th grade. Honor roll student every year. The teachers and admin are awesome! I'm confident his Jr. High experience will be great because he's well prepared.

You would think by now the district would have replaced the principal! He is the worst EVER! Every year there is such a huge turnover of staff because of this man! Run far away from this school! I'm just glad this is my child's last year. Even my child hates going to school now because of the principal.

We recently moved to Mesa from Columbus, Ohio where our son attended catholic school. We were apprehensive about public schools but have been so happy with our experience at Canyon Rim so far. We love that the school is in the center of our community and that the school has a very active PTA. His teacher is actively engaged with the class and skilled at seeing her students potential. She has found ways to challenge our son and encourage his initiative. She has . The entire staff is warm and friendly. You can immediately sense how much they truly care about their students. This entire community is family centric and parents are very involved at this school. We could not be happier.

We are looking forward to a new principal with new ideas and less micromanagement! Good-bye Dr. Brenner! We feel sorry for the school district that picks her up though. Be prepared for someone breathing down your neck teachers. Everything needs to go past her first. Parents, she will change everything she touches.!! Canyon Rim can breath now! Thankful for a new year starting in 2013
