Our child is currently in 1st grade at Trinity, and we love the school's heavy focus on whole child development and SEL. The academic focus is strong without the high pressure typically seen in Bay Area Schools. The Math is differentiated to be challenging and engaging. The teachers are very nurturing and truly care about the children.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Trinity’s preschool program at the lower campus in Downtown Menlo Park. From the first day, we knew we had found the perfect place for our child. The teachers are incredibly warm, patient, and truly care about each child's individual needs. They foster a love of learning through engaging activities and they encourage curiosity. An often overlooked benefit of Trinity is the flexible hours. They have an extended care option until 6pm, which is a huge help for any working parent, or anyone stuck in Bay Area traffic! One thing that really impressed us was the excellent communication. We received daily summaries of our child's day, which kept us informed and involved in their learning journey. The school also hosts regular parent-teacher conferences, providing opportunities for open and honest dialogue. If you're looking for a preschool that will not only care for your child but also inspire them to reach their full potential, I highly recommend Trinity School.

I am delighted with the way Trinity School has nurtured my two daughters, helping them become happier, more confident, and fostering a genuine love for the learning process. I greatly appreciate the low teacher-to-student ratio, which ensured that our daughters received the attention and care they needed. Academically, Trinity is also quite competitive, and it has prepared them exceptionally well

Trinity is a fantastic, nurturing environment for your elementary school child and a great community for the parents who want to focus on a balance of education, social emotional learning, strong community, and growth activities (i.e. overnight field trips). In our experience which started during Covid, the school (led by its incredible head of school, administrators, teachers, and the parent community) really created a magical environment where kids with and without learning differences could grow, gain confidence, and feel success. We have been part of this wonderful and close-knit community for about 4 yrs. Our 2 boys have gone from private to public and then finished private thru Trinity, one of which matriculated and another in 5th grade matriculating this June. The summary positives: The teachers and the staff believe in the values that are emphasized by the school and it resonates with the kids and the parent community. The frequent skits led by Ms. Thacker are one of the school’s most precious assets. The curriculum is well balanced and does not create overwhelming stress for the students or the parents. Kids are well prepared for middle school and there are ample support from the administrators in helping them matriculate to the top schools in the bay area. There are plenty of activities and opportunities for parents to be involved and that’s the other big secret here… strong parental community involvement makes all the difference in the experience for both parents and children. Areas of improvement:Continue to increase activities where students can get more enhanced community involvement. Make the school day longer – find ways to keep the kids there more … they get a lot each day.

Trinity school is a Diamond in the Bay Area!I would like to share my experience with other parents. If you are looking for an excellent school in any direction (e.g., kindness, education, fun, art, culture, play), Trinnity is the one. The teachers and staff are great! The head of school is the best of the best! My kid has been at Trinity since kindergarten, and she is now in second grade. We love all teachers and staff so far. My kid went to all good schools in Menlo Park for daycare and preschool before we knew Trinity. She went to Stanford day car, which was the good one, and then preschool at Silicon Valley International School, with some positive and negative points. We were so lucky to be introduced to the Trinity through a good friend. After moving to Trinity, we experienced different levels of the definition of a good school and community. I can say everything in Trinity is PERFECT. Trinity is A diamond. A friend asked if I could have anything negative about it because she wants to decide between Trinity and another school for her kid. For another school, I said all positive and negative things, and I could not find a minor negative point for Trinity. If you want the best education, if you want your kid to be safe and surrounded by thoughtful, kind, and loving staff; if you want your kid to have fun and have a good sense of humor, if you want your kid to play, learn, and laugh and be kind to others, Trinnity is the place to be.Mary Pan

Because Trinity is small, it seems families are attracted to it because more often than not their child needs extra support— either behaviorally ( they hit, curse at teacher, stab kids with pencils), or they need extra support socially because they are gifted and on the spectrum, or they want a more challenging, tailored curriculum because they are so advanced. If your kid is well behaved, socially adept and athletic, this can make finding friends difficult. I think the administration is way too forgiving of misbehavior. I’ve seen repeat hitting and kicking from one child, seen repeat cursing at teachers from another, and repeated defiant behavior that seems to continue to be tolerated in an environment that’s supposed to ensure safety, kindness and inclusion.

Trinity is a thoughtful, wonderful place where kids are supported to grow and develop the confident to become engaged, thoughtful, caring learners and citizens of the world. They emerge as critical thinkers, deeply caring, kind, and academically ready for what's ahead. I'm so grateful to have had 2 children attend. Highly recommend.

Trinity has been a good choice for both of our children. It’s most unique quality has been the strong community spirit that has been enhanced by on-campus celebratory events where students are warmly welcomed and parents can participate if they wish. During distance learning there has been an emphasis on keeping the school community connected and woven together. We’ve made good long standing friends at Trinity who have made a difference to our lives. The size of the school has allowed our children to flourish, their individual character traits are known and recognized by staff and students alike. This creates a sense where children feel ‘known and loved’ for who they are. These experiences have shaped my children for who they are now, a 6th and 9th grader who are confident to navigate their own path in an excellent Bay Area school. Thank you Trinity.

Trinity is a tiny school with less than 80 students. It needs enrollment desperately, the administration is in real desperation to improve enrollment. They will say anything to get families into Trinity in order to survive. A common statement for visiting families is that "SHS is our feeder school", or "WP is our feeder school". None of those statements are true. In fact, there is no feeder school for Trinity. The key reason for low enrollment is their obsolete academic and SEL programs.Instead of using dubious statements to lure families and playing political games, they should simply devote their energy and hard work into improving the quality of the academic curriculum, the faculty and the administrative staff.Trinity families used to call Trinity "a little gem in the Bay Area". This is no longer the case. In addition, if they step out of this minuscule Trinity environment into the real world, they will see and understand what "a gem" really is.It is sad to see this school going downhill.

I am so glad we found Trinity - it has been such a wonderful experience for our family. They are a little gem in Silicon Valley, and so many families and kids just love being part of the Trinity community. We are in touch with many current and past families, and they still feel so connected to the school and the friends they made there. It's a testament to the strength and quality of the education and faculty team, the kind and inclusive community, and small school setting where each child is known and matters.

We had 3 kids at Trinity over 11 years and we cannot be more grateful for the experience for our family. Our kids were well prepared for middle school at great institutions in the bay area. Most importantly we always felt part of a great community where we made long time friends and always felt supported and welcome.

We sent 3 children to Trinity School, and they have thrived in middle school and way beyond. Becoming a part of the Trinity School community has made all the difference in the world for our family. We have all made friends for life; the families we came to know still attend to each other in times of need; and we have all come to see Trinity as an excellent choice for our kids. My husband and I are educators. We think that for elementary education Trinity represents the best features of a traditional school rooted in the Episcopal tradition (which is over 480 years old) enhanced by all the technological "necessities" of education in 21st century Silicon Valley and, increasingly, the world. Sending our children to this school was one of the best decisions we have made, despite the cost. We will always be grateful for what Trinity School gave our family.

It has been a frightening and stressful experience, both academically and morally. Each year families hope for improvement, which never actually happened. Academically, students aren't prepared for future study at all. "Every kid has a tutor, because they learn nothing (at school)" is the student's comment. The most sad fact is that most of parents are in denial superficially. Privately, they hire tutors to aggressively make up for the incompetence of the school.Parents, be ready to pay for tuition, various donations and private tutoring.

We had a great experience at Trinity with two kids enrolled from pre-K through 5th. The family community is welcoming, diverse and engaged. Both kids went on to middle schools that are a great fit for them and cherish the time they spent at Trinity.

Trinity is a horrible place, not a school at all. My children and their friends have expressed that attending Trinity is their deepest regret in their short lives on Earth.

Trinity is a terrific school. The size of the school permits each student to develop his or her own voice and have an impact, whether in weekly chapel skits, the school’s many charitable projects, or within each class. Our children were well-prepared for middle school.

Trinity is a K to 5th grade DAYCARE, a MEDIOCRE daycare, not an actual school. There is minimum or no education at all, even comparing with our public school. We are relieved that we have moved on to a safe school that actually provides education.

We love Trinity and what it has done for our child and family as a whole. 5 Stars all around.

Excellent. There are so many things my two, now high school, boys loved about Trinity, it is hard to narrow it down! What stands out to me most is the nurturing community which fosters each student's individual growth and expression. Both my boys now look back on Trinity as essential for developing their talents and helping them feel confident in who they are. The small environment, encouraging teachers who have the time to work with each child, values, service learning, multiple specialist classes, and conflict resolution emphasis all encourage the ability to work and play with all other students, appreciating both similarities and differences and working through conflicts rather than running from them. Academics didn't immediately come to mind, but both of my sons were well-prepared for middle and high school, entering strongly at the top of their classes, and enjoyed many projects and fun elements of learning along the way at Trinity!
