My older son went to Sonntag from Kinder to 5th and my other son currently attends. The staff and teachers are outstanding. Both of my boys are special needs and have IEPs and the SPED staff have overall been amazing. In general, when there have been any issues around bullying or behavior, as well as mental health support, things are handled quickly and with care. I love all the programs or events they do at night throughout the year for the family. The end of school fair is a lot of fun for everyone. I also enjoy volunteering there. Sara Bagby, the principal and the previous principal, Shannon Acosta genuinely love the kids and support their teachers and staff. I can't recommend Sonntag enough!

Both my boys have been to Sonntag all through Elementary and this school was such a blessing to our family! They have the best, most caring staff like treated our boys like their own!! They genuinely care about the kiddos and their development and will go above and beyond to cater to every kid’s needs. Their safety of our kiddos is also top notch! Sonntag will always have a special place in our hearts!

We’ve had kiddos at this school since 2016. I fostered and adopted kiddos who needed the love and support that Sonntag was able to give them. If our child was being challenging the school met with us to come up with strategies to help them grow. They did what was best for our kiddos and spent extra time in their work day to do what was best for our children. The school counselor ALWAYS made time for our kiddos to make sure they knew they were in a safe place. The assistant principal and principal would let them cool down in their office and reassure them that they were okay and could do anything to succeed. Each teacher we have had has taken the time to understand our children and make accommodations to help them be successful. I’m beyond pleased with the staff from the front office, teachers, specials teachers, reading specialists, speech language pathologists, counselors, librarians and the list goes on. I highly recommend Sonntag if you are looking for a neighbor to raise your littles. I am happy to say that my children have all grown academically and emotionally because of the support they have received.

We hit the jackpot with Sonntag and would give this school a 10/10. The teachers and the admin team are an extension of our family. They truly get to know your child and the families. I feel comfortable reaching out to any teacher my child has with any questions I have about what they are learning.

As a parent of students here (and a former substitute teacher at this school) I absolutely love the atmosphere and culture I experienced during my time there. My kids have never had any issues and have greatly enjoyed all of their teachers!

I’ve had children at Sonntag starting in 2010 and the last one will finish in 2026. Consistently kind, patient, caring teachers and staff. Their special education program is outstanding and meets the children’s needs. This school really knows each child by name and feels like a family inside The school counselor is outstanding.

The school location is great, some teachers are supportive of their students. However, the children who go to this school are awful. There is non stop bullying, kids are mean, vulgar and harass the students there. Although there is a no bullying policy, the kids do not care. I really want to like this school, but the students are awful.

My kiddos have been at Sonntag since it opened. The feedback, communication and support of the staff here is absolutely awesome. The dynamic between students and teachers is the best I've ever seen. The teachers, support staff, counsellors and principals are always going no the extra mile. Sonntag is such a huge force in the Westridge community and I am glad to be Sonntag strong. :)

Not sure where to start. I know when dropping my children off they are under the best care. The teachers are amazing and really take the time to get to know each student and their needs.

Teachers, staff and administration are all phenomenal, from the secretary to the librarian, counselor, nurse, music teacher... they all give their best and seem to love both the students and their jobs. Very active PTA, with lots of parent involvement.

This school is excellent!!! The principals and counselor are very personable and involved. The teachers are absolutely amazing! It really feels like an extension of your family. When I send my kids to school each day, I am confident I have nothing to worry about. The curriculum and learning process is top notch. Glad to be apart of the Sonntag family!

We have had a fantastic experience with Sonntag and all of their staff. The principal, Mrs. Acosta, knows who all of the kids are. The teachers are awesome! My son has ASD and I have found that this school wants my son to succeed and has gone out of their way to accommodate him. They pay attention to his needs and update his ARD if he needs more time with one of the specials teachers. I cannot recommend this school enough!!

I love this school they have people to help you when ever you need it ! I love Sontag because the whole staff is so sweet and are very caring .I was in fifth grade in the school year of 2013-2014 all of the fifth grade teachers are so sweet and nice these teachers are mrs .Borynack, mrs .Qualls , mrs . Westoff, mrs. Mahoney, and mr. Sinclair . I have been going there since third grade . I will truly miss all the Sonntag staff members. Again this is a or used to be a fifth grader I wish I still could go to Sonntag . I love Sonntag so much . I will miss Sonntag but not only Sonntag but friscoisd . I won't be attending a friscoisd school because I have moved. Truly , your friend
