Locust is an amazing school. Their teachers and staff go above and beyond to make learning meaningful and engaging for students. Communication is very clear from the building. Even through the pandemic, the staff of Locust did an amazing job maintaining a positive learning environment. Both my husband and I are teachers, and can firmly state that we are proud to send our children to Locust.

My son has sensory processing disorder and knowing he has an IEP they did not follow it which lead to a major meltdown since he could not self regulate. I had to be called to come and get him since they didn't know how to handle the situation. School is not equipped to handle kids with different learning needs

The administration at this school is amazing. I have never had any issues getting in touch with the teachers, aids, principal, nurse...you name it! They are wonderful with the children and make school exciting. In the 6 school years that I have had one or more children in this school I've never had any problem come up that couldn't be resolved with a quick meeting or phone call. They are all wonderful and I'm happy to have my children go through this elementary school!

My daughter is in 1st grade here and I can't say enough how wonderful the staff has been. We dealt with some bullying last year, in Kindergarten, and the principal was quick to address and help resolve the issue. My daughter loves going to school every day and you can see how much the teachers and staff enjoy their job.

I’ve had two children go thru this school and I can’t say enough how wonderful it was. From the school nurse to teachers and Administration headed by Mrs Lopez. The communtiy is lucky to have such a wonderful school. I dont know why theae ratings aren’t 10+. Go meet with Mrs Lopez and youll see for yourself.

The teachers are inexperienced. They pay no attention to parent concerns. The school is dirty. The mood at school is depressing you rarely see a happy child.
