Mrs. Watson has done an exemplary job caring for the students, staff, and families. She goes above and beyond to foster strong relationships with the community at large. My son has had amazing teachers all along the way. He's been sufficiently challenged when appropriate and supported when needed. I am very thankful to the staff at Olson for taking such great care of our communities' kids!

Principal Mrs. Frisbie has done wonders for the staff and students at Olson. Teachers are dedicated and provide many learning experiences including technology for each student.

My children benefitted from the hands-on approach and the dual language programs. The kids walk to school and there is a welcoming feeling from the moment they walk in the door. They are doing really well in the JR high now as a result of the work they did at Olson.

School changed from a middle school to a elementary and at first some problems, but they have been corrected. Now the school is functioning as it should. Learning is fun and interesting. Both my son's thrived at this school!

This school does not provide its students with textbooks, and instructs a 3rd grade class to look over the assigned worksheets. The kids have no way of reviewing the actual math lessons that were taught. In addition, parents have no idea what or how this content is being explained to their children.

My daughter just finished her 3rd year here (5th Grade). She was previously in a well regarded private school (K-2nd Grade), but I have to say that Olson offered a better education. Teachers and staff here were awesome! I highly recommend this school. I can only imagine how much higher the ISAT testing scores would have been as a whole for the school if there was more parent involvement. The staff at this school did remarkable work with the resources they had. We could afford private, but the education at this public school resulted in higher testing results than what we found privately, and my daughter loved this school just as much. .
