I have two children who attend this school; one has significant learning difficulties. The teachers are truly caring and responsive. Although my youngest with an IEP is still not on grade level the school continues to re-evaluate and put in place accommodations to assist him in his learning. With COVID there have been no activities for parents/children to attend (you cannot be a class mom/dad, no school trips and no concerts or after school activities). The school was prepared for remote learning as each child had a chromebook prior to the shutdown. Some teachers were better able to adapt to remote learning and you could clearly see generation differences between what was provided through remote learning. I believe teachers were provided inhouse training for Google Classroom. The school itself has two playgrounds and is located on a nicely open & wooded area. There is bus transportation and all K-5 students ride together. Depending on the route, some parents choose to drive due to length of time on the bus and because kids can get unruly.
